No doubt, that fight was Awesome. Back and fourth, either could have been knocked out a few times. Love the Lightweight fights.

The War Machine fight was up there too.

^Goes to show, all it takes is a split second to change the way a fight is going.

The huerta-guida, and the j-rock-war machine could have been the top card for the last pay per view, and it would have been so much more enjoyable. How do we get these fights for free, but we have to pay to that last card they gave us. Great show though, glad Huerta pulled it out.

TUF Season 7 Coaches will be Forrest Griffin and Rampage Jackson.

TUF 6 Finale was a great show.

TUF 7 is going to be the funniest season in the history of TUF. Can't wait 'til Griffin/Rampage. Sure to be a classic. I'm rooting for Forrest. Isn't TUF 7 going to feature MWs? I think so.

TUF 6 finale was a pretty good end. Danzig won that by a long shot though, wasn't really a surprise or battle. Huerta/Guida was classic though. That fight had me jumping up and down.

Yeah it's going to feature MWs. Should be an entertaining season that is for sure. Looking forward to seeing the coaches in action.

The War Machine/J Roc bout was incredible. The rest of the fights were pretty unremarkable, aside from Huerta/Guida.

By the way, did anyone else order the Mayweather/Hatton PPV? I'm still bummed out.

There's only one Ricky Hatton.

No I stopped investing money in boxing a long time ago. And really with the popularity of MMA, I'm starting to think boxing may truly be a thing of the past. I mean there's just not the same kind of money and draw in it that there used to be.

Them's the breaks sometimes. UFC feels it's important to give back to their audience with the big free shows in support of the PPV's.

UFC definitely knows and caters to their audience, and that's why they are successful right now. Unlike TNA and WWE.

Predictions for UFC 79?

I'm going with GSP, Liddell, Machida, Guillard, and Sanchez.

GSP, by TKO in 3rd round.

Liddell, by KO in the 2nd round.

Machida, by UD.

I want Hughes to win. Not only because I think he';ll slightly edge out GSP (which I also love, btw), but because I want to see Hughes/Serra.

I'd say:

- Hughes
- Liddell
- Machida
- Clementi
- Sanchez

Here's the full card, since I didn't know it off the top of my head like everyone else.

Hughes (43-5-0) v GSP (14-2-0)
Liddell (20-5-0) v Silva (31-7-1)
Lyoto Machida (11-0-0) v Rameau Sokoudjou (4-1-0)
Rich Clementi (37-12-1) v Melvin Guillard (39-7-3)
Soa Palelei (8-1-0) v Eddie Sanchez (9-1-0)

Some of the dark matches look pretty interesting too, hopefully we get to see some of them. I'm going with GSP, Silva, Machida, Guillard, and Sanchez. I'd like to see Hughes and Liddell win, but I just don't think it's going to happen. Either way, should be an epic PPV. I'm hoping that the Liddell fight is really the crazy stand up battle that I have imagined it to be.

I don't know why people think Liddell is going to lose. He can win this easily. Wanderlei is an agressive fighter, and that will be his downfall. Chuck is a counter-puncher, he'll catch Silva, and Silva will go down.

As for Hughes winning, I don't see that happening. St. Pierre is going to take this and then get his win against Serra back.

After watching Silva's training on Spike last night, I will say he has to be the best conditioned light-heavyweight easily. The guy trains while breathing through a snorkel with his nose plugged. He'll go full speed for all three rounds. Liddell's only chance is to catch him in the first round. Overall Skills, there is nobody in the light-heavyweight division that matches up with the "Axe Murderer".

My prediction is Liddell gets destroyed, Silva makes Rampage look like a puppy dog.

I'm not saying he can't win, but I mean if you saw his last few fights, he can certainly lose easily too.

Yeah I watched that the other night too, and I was pretty impressed. He is surely training in beast mode. He is certainly preparing himself as much as he can. That's why I gave him the nod for my pick was that thing on Spike the other night.

Yeah, have you seen Wanderlei's last couple of fights? He got knocked two times! Chuck only lost by KO and then Decision. Chuck has the edge.

He was decisioned by Jardine, Keith "I got my bell rung by a nobody" Jardine, not really in the same class as Cro Cop or Henderson. Also Liddell lost to Jackson twice, who Silva destroyed twice.

Not saying Liddell can't win, but it will be a fluke punch if he does. He does not match up well for this fight.

Yeah I have which is why I wouldn't say that either fighter will win the fight easily going in, because both are coming off of two losses. Neither one has looked overly impressive as of late. And like Badger says, I care more about the quality of the opponents than the means by which they were beat.

Hmm, interesting points. I still say Chuck knocks Wanderlei in the first round.
