Actually most people hate Brock because he was given a title shot after something like 4 fights and lots of people thought that was ********.
And yet these same people more often than not love Randy Couture..
GSP isn't even a wrestler and he has better ground game than Brock
I'll think you'll find GSP now, 100% is a wrestler. He didn't come into MMA with a wrestling backround, however he obviously did some training & took to it like a duck to water.
and Rashad has become more than just a "wrestler", his KO's over Chuck Liddell, Sean Salmon and Jason Lambert cleary show his growth from a wrestler to a mixed martial artist.
Without question Rashad Evans has improved his striking.. to a point, however he is still more wrestler thana
'well rounded mixed martial artist' as was proved when he fought someone who could actually strike well ie Machida. He then had to go back to his bread & butter as he calls it on order to take on people like Thaigo Silva & Rampage Jackson who are better strikers than he is.
His KO win over Liddell is his most impressive as Liddell is
(of the 3) the most dangerous striker by a few 100 miles.. that being said, the Chuck Liddell Rashad fought was a mere shadow of the lethal knockout artist that had been on a rampage of knockouts dominating the LHW division for years, ironically stopped by Rampage.
If you find that "boring" go back to watching WWE fulltime.
You are one trolling piece of crap you know that..
What I find
'boring' is the blanket tactic he has seemingly reverted back to in his past few fights, if you like watch 2 men who are supposedly fighting hug & have 1 be held down for 15 mins.. well I'd suggest you find a brick & go smash up the first police car you find
(prefarably with a cop inside). You will be sent to a place were this sort of thing happens quite regularly.. you might even get lucky & get to experience it yourself.
Comapred to other HW's Brock's stand up is piss poor.
Ha. Tell me another joke.
Brock dropped Mir (
twice on 2 different occassions with punches I believe), Brock dropped Herring
(also twice in the same match with standing punches I believe) & finally he dropped & TKO'd Randy Couture, a man who out boxed Gonzaga
(still a HW in the UFC) & to a lesser extent Tim Sylvia, from standing punches.
So really when you think about it & send your little pea brain into overdrive, his standup isn't that bad at all. You could easily make a case for Lesnar being able to beat anyone that the 3 men hes dropped with punches have beat, using standup.
It is pretty irrelevant anyway, with Lesnar's wrestling ability, size & speed, he doesn't really need to stand with anyone. He can take them down & smash their face in.. or use his Brock-itsu on them.
