You have to understand that a lot of hate that people have for Anderson. A lot of it comes from Fedor worshipers that are so pissed that some people think Anderson is better pound for pound than Fedor. That naturally brings hate from all of those elitists that acted like they know so much because they saw a PRIDE event a few times. The Fedor lot is a very interesting one. Some people really think that losing in 69 seconds looks better than coming back from being dominated and winning. :lmao:

Then you got the GSP worshipers who feel the same as the Fedor fans but without the elitist arrogance.

Then there are the people who just hate him because he's great. It comes with the territory.

The funny thing about some of the Anderson haters is that they have torn down Shogun's loss to Forrest, and Big Nog's loss to Mir because of injuries. Now some of the same people think it's crazy that Anderson had a rib injury. To me it doesn't matter because you shouldn't fight if you're so hurt. You get in the cage with a pre-existing injury, then you're saying you're good enough to fight.
 
I'm a huge fan of Silva. His last match against Maia just left a horrible taste in my mouth and I wanted to see Sonnen make good on his trash talk.

Yeah, but you're also a Rulk fan, and that's just not cool bruh. I called Gangstalicious to smite you on that, and somehow that ended up in Anderson playing Invisible Guitar Hero against Maia in the desert.

Lots of fighters make excuses, don't make an excuse for a bad performance, and if it's true tell people pre fight or if it's that bad, don't fight.


Chael sonnen could take down Anderson at will, he is a Bette wrestler plain and simple. He should have just laid on him for the last round, not punched him much(gsp/ Jon fitch style). You do what you have to do to win.


I'm thinking vitor belfort is gonna be andersons next fight hopefully(it's been in the works forever).
I want shogun vs Anderson(lhw title).
Anderson is too sure of himself, who does he think he is, muhammed Ali?

Also why is akiyama getting better fights and chris leben is not?
 
so I saw the fight last night...yes Silva took a beating, but pulled it out in the end...isn't that what a fight is though?? things just happen

Prior to this fight did he not have the right to be? I don't mind if people take issue with Silva for the right reasons, what does bother me some is the people that jumped ship saying he put on weak....brb
 
Looks like Jones vs. Forrest is going to be pretty definite if Forrest's shoulder clears.

Else it's looking like Jones vs. the winner of Lil Nog and Bader.

Uh no, I imagine there are Anderson haters simply because he puts on a bad show in most of his fights. He's so far looked like garbage in 4 of his last 5 fights. His last fight was only exciting to watch because of Sonnen.

He's fought 12 times in the UFC, and he's had exciting finishes in most except for the Cote, Leites, and Maia fights. The Cote fight wasn't boring save for the awkward ending, and the Leites and Maia fights should hardly be a representation of his career when he's dominated people in all of his fights except the Sonnen fight.

He only looked bad in the Sonnen fight too. With Leites he wasn't aggressive, but considering his opponent it was hard to be. With Maia he put on three great rounds and then just pulled some Bizarro random crap in the last two. All fights don't end the same, so Anderson not killing a guy in the first round doesn't make him all of a sudden a sorry fighter.
 
His three rounds against Maia weren't great. If they were great, he would have ended Maia in any one of them.

They were semi-entertaining because of some of his antics, but not great.
 
T.Leites fight was ALL TL's fault. 100%. He fought like a *****. He didn't act like he wanted the belt. Every time Silva swung at his ***** ass he jumped on the ground.
 
When Anderson did his little dances and sh#t it made me laugh. He got a warning right for stalling?
 
At one point he even played a little air guitar.
 
Mir looks like a monster Mir, he is a totally different fighter. He needs to find his groove as a fighter again.
 
I really dont care to see Brock/Mir 3, so I'm pulling for Cro Cop in this one.
