OFFICIAL Wolverine and The X-men Gallery Thread

there is only one angel.Apocalypse captured angel and turned him into one of his horsemen.
that dyed his skin blue.so the mutant in red and white is Angel.and the blue one in pink and blue is Archangel.there the same person.did that help in any way?

He turned bad when he turned blue, but he turned good before he turned back to white.

In the comics, Angel is "white" with feathered wings when he was using his default powers and was working with the X-Men without any dark influences. Later in the comics, Angel's wings were badly injured to the point of being amputated, and Apocalypse remade Angel, attaching metallic wings (which had energy feather wings beneath, and can now shift back and forth, it's acid-trip crazy) with blue skin. Angel serves as his Horseman of Death for a bit before being freed and going by Archangel thereafter. He kept the blue skin until somewhere within the Joe Casey era of UXM.

I haven't seen the future episodes or some of the newest trailers, so I don't know exactly how it happens here. But, it may seem that Angel is due to have his wings injured and be transformed into his metal winged, blue skinned form. Welcome to the 80's. :p

Haha cool. I just thought he looed awesome with the blue skin when I saw him on the trailer.

So he hasnt been on the show yet?

he has been in ep 2,3 and 5 i think but im not sure.

Hahah i totally forgot about Angel. Where the hell is he?

It's a bit ridiculous that he's a 'recurring character', credits and all, when the ACTUAL Angel hasn't shown up since episode 2 or 3 - only been referenced a few times, and was of course Mystique in disguise once. Rogue should have been in the opening credits, even if she was with the brotherhood for the first half.

From what I have read at Wikipedia (i know what you are thinking but they have been right about the episode premises up to now) Angel will become a focal point for upcoming episodes

Angel rejoins the X-Men in episode 18, and since the same voice actor who plays Nightcrawler also plays him, he is set to show up more.

pics of Series 2 that has Nightcrawler, X-force wolvy repaint, and repacks of Colossus and Magneto.

Hasbro messed up big time with nightcrawler. The general shape of the body is all wrong. He is way too wide and his waist area should be very narrow. I also hate that Hasbro isn't resculpting a Wolverine body to be more show accurate. Most obviously, he needs a thinner waist area and smaller pecs. But what the heck, every other figure in the line is out of scale and not accurate to the show

Thanks for the link. Nightcrawler doesn't have the red trim on the shoulder area either, but I kind of like how the figure turned out.

I do like attempt at variants at least since Wolverine did wear that outfit on the show.

oops! I thought this was the Figure thread. My bad. can a mod move the last two posts to the action figure thread thats a few topics down?
thanks!

The X-men donned black outfits in a couple episodes for more stealth type of missions.

When Rogue and Wolverine were investigating a yakuza hideout, and when Kitty, Forge, and Wolverine were going to that sentinel factory.

Thanks for this. Was Iceman one of the X-men who wore the black outfit?

Oh right...i didnt even notice Rogue not being in the opening credits.. :csad:

Angel being the 3rd (?) one shown in the opening credits is definitely a head scratcher tho...

im sorry but those figures are among the cheapest looking pieces of **** ive ever seen! i cant believe people will actually buy it!

and i cant believe Marvel just signs the rights to their characters to Hasbro for like a whole nuther decade! wtf!

they are animated figures. they are going to look cheap. Hasbro has done good things with the Marvel liscence and there aren't any other major toy companies to give the liscense to.

umm they are the ones who butchered the marvel legends series right? and also the ones who decided to just not release that line suddenly without ever saying anything about it right?

Probably.

Damn, these feel like Happy Meal toys. Really good ones, but still, not worth the $9 price tag.
