so the only reason he was kidnapped is because he "understood" his captor?

Yeah.

I was so disappointed to. The execution and play out of that revelation of reason was so. . . well, it was freaking disappointing, to the feeling that I wasted my entire time reading the damn thing.

good thing i didnt read that monstrous thing for myself... id be PISSED... i read online somewhere that the motivations for the kidnapping were more interesting than the movie. that was a ****ing lie... its just plain flat out BORING and i fi had read that manga first, i wouldnt have even bothered with the movie
