Long time ago I was using the bathroom reading one of my grandmother's entertainment magazines. I came across this photo of Ledger.

This long before he passed away, and I assume while still filming TDK. If you look at his hair you can see some green in it. The people behind him had no idea.

This was before any trailers or what not came out. I think we had a few crummy spy pics and one or two officals. I remember getting all excited and going up to everyone I knew and pointing it out.

Anyways, don't expect this thread to get to many people's attention. Just thought it was neat. Good to remember that feeling of excitement.

From what I remember hearing, this pic was taken around September 2007...so he was probably just finishing wrapping up TDK around this time. Hence the green hair.

And Matilda looked like him then, but she's just his total mini-me now! Ha ha. No denying who HER daddy was (unlike those poor Jackson kids...)

Yeah it's a late post lol. Was going to post it back in the day, but as you can see I just registered finally this month.

I love the picture because he's out walking around in public, who knows if maybe he walked by a Bat-Fan who was keeping up with news and noticed the green in his hair.

At that time the general public also had no idea how much everything was gonna' blow up. Also Heath had no idea what was ahead in his future.

And just seeing it for the first time in that magazine who just ran it as a "star spotting" with no mention of Batman at all, really made it feel like a hidden gem.

There's a sense of....something I can't think of a proper word to use. But there's a feeling I get when looking at this picture.

Like I said I don't expect this thread to last very long. There can only be so much conversation about the picture. Then it's, "Alright....so what do you cats wanna' do now?" lol.

Looking at it again, you can just see how attached she was to him, and with the simple gesture of him putting his hand on the back of her head, you can see how much he truly cared for her and comforted her... it's beautiful, quite frankly.

You should see her now, she's so tall for her age (not yet 4) that she would be probably up to or even past his waist. And she looks more like Heath than ever now.
