Hey, does anyone here remember a cartoon from the early-to-mid seventies with characters that were styled alot like Speed Racer...it was set in the future with mankind in a life and death struggle with an alien race - I think called Gamalons. These Gamalons had poisoned the Earth with radiation or something. The heroes left Earth in some kind of refitted Battleship turned spaceship for a planet that offered help to save the Earth. Every show ended with a countdown...so many days to save Earth...will they make it?!?

I think it was called StarBlazers or something close...

I LOVED that series!

They used to rerun episodes of the Monkees during daytime in the '80s on the Nap' Fox affiliate, and me thinkin that it was brand new.:whatever:
I always wondered why there clothes were so different.

rocko's modern life
doug
tmnt
family matters
adams family
married with children.

If Catman meant shows that were aired before the 80s but I loved when I was a kid in the early 80s, then it has to be the original Mission: Impossible.

ahh....i used to love the adam west batman too...and adam west is equally awesome now on family guy.

OMG...I grew up in the '60s...my husband's SO jealous of that!
Where do I begin?

Sea Hunt (#1 and still my all time fave to this day!!!)
The Green Hornet
Star Trek (TOS...I thought Chekov was kinda cute back then and I also thought Uhura was the coolest chick out there!)
Secrets of Isis
Prince Planet
Primus (the short 1971-72 series, NOT the band!)
Flipper
Linus the Lionhearted (old cartoon from the mid-60s)
Shazam!
Pink Panther cartoons (The Inspector cartoons were also hilarious too!)
Batman (yes, this madsixtian enjoyed Adam & Burt when I was in grade school, but I really liked Van & Bruce more!)
Bananna Splits
Mod Squad

<whew!> OK, enough already! :meow:

Everything that used to run on Nick at Nite in the early 90's.

Dobie Gillius
Patty Duke
Green Acres
Lucy both the coloer version (where she worked at the bank) & b/w version
Superman
etc.

just one. "You cant do that on Television"

Catman said:

and he's older than you???
The Wonder Years was new when I was a kid. It's not an old show.
