New show on HBO, in the timeslot after Entourage on Sundays.....recently started watching it, I already love it. British/Australian humor, may offend some...yeah, the kid "Jonah" can be quite a teenage monster, my favorite new character on tv.

Discretion, bad language is used, and used well.

I love this show! I watched the series a couple of months ago and J'amie is awesome!

This is a pretty funny show. I've watched it the last few weeks.

You guys know comedy....the rest of you, need to catch up! I recommend this if you liked the type of humor in the british version of The Office.

This show is starting to pile on the critical acclaim...how long before we get an American version, ala The Office?

At last night's ceremony in Melbourne, Chris Lilley, creator of the ABC's Summer Heights High, was honoured with gongs for best comedy series, best performance in a comedy and the Byron Kennedy Award for outstanding creative contribution.

"Summer Heights High" is the best sitcom since "The Office." The original British "Office."

"High" is the kind of sophisticated, thinking-man's comedy that is rare these days. It's silly and outrageous with an odd emotional center.

all in all, it's a rich work, full of detail and small moments, and grounded in reality by an utterly believable supporting cast partly drawn from the school where the series was shot.

Summer Heights High is not a perfect comedy, and those offended by crossed boundaries will feel their boundaries crossed. But it's a welcome, if sometimes familiar, HBO comedy while we wait for the return of Flight of the Conchords. Just don't tell your high-school drama teacher.

Well, it is certainly better than the show it replaced, Little Britain USA...which was horrible.

Lord have mercy isn't Little Brittain USA is the worst thing on the face of the planet? I haven't given Summer Heights High a chance because of it. HBO is just so janky lately..You know damn well that they churned out these two shows with the mentality "since everyone likes flight of the Concords".. Meanwhile Louis CK's show was canned.:cmad::huh: I cant figure out HBO for the life of me

Hopefully Chris Lilley has more self respect than to sell off his creation to have it butchered by the US.

this show is awesome as it is.
