Yeah, I think that's "Hogzilla", and was proven fake. The rest are real though. The top one is a coconut crab I believe. Fruit bats definitely get huge.

Ray's I've seen first hand, so I know they're enormous, lol. Went to an underwater aquarium, where the walls and ceiling is a thick rounded glass. So you can walk underneath sharks, ect. Me and my sister were shoulder to shoulder and a ray glided underneath us. It's wingspan easily eclipsed us (both adults at the time, not kids).


Funny note on the above aquarium thing. It was a family trip. My mom was still tired from a hard day of work the day before, and the aquarium was a long walk. Towards the end she was wanting to sit for a sec, and this shark started eyeing her. It followed slowly behind her for a while, and kids actually started following mom around to get a better look at the shark. I joked to her that it picked out the weak link in the herd .

Well good for her. I heard Rosie O'Donnell was trying to make a comeback. She lost a lot of weight.

They're supposedly delicious. I was going to make some joke about the tub being filled with melted butter, but it turns out that that isn't the preferred way to eat them.

You're supposed to cut open the stomach and dip the meat in the contents, which consist almost entirely of coconut. It's the perfect food: it makes its own ****ing dipping sauce.

I think they may be endangered though. If not, they still are fairly rare I believe. I actually don't have an aversion to crabs, and lobsters. They can be kind of freaky, but no horrifying. Other crustaceans though are scary as hell.
