Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew are about to go on one of their greatest adventures yet in Bandai Namco's One Piece: World Seeker, which is coming out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC today.

The story in One Piece: World Seeker has been written by Eiichiro Oda himself, who is the creator of the acclaimed One Piece manga, so players will feel as if they were watching a new episode from the anime.

Ws far as the story goes, Luffy and his crew will find themselves travelling through Jail Island and helping the locals by going on quests, and even fighting some members of the World Government and Germa 66 along the way.

One Piece: World Seeker will add various additional elements via free updates, the latest issue of Monthly V-Jump reveals.

The magazine confirms the following content is on the way:

• “Raid Suit” costume for Luffy
• “Effect & Frame Camera” feature (otherwise known as Photo Mode)
• “Challenge Missions” that task players with repeling waves of enemies, etc.
• Additional equipment

One Piece: World Seeker is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

One Piece: World Seeker DLC episodes release windows announced

Bandai Namco has announced release windows for the additional episodes included in the $29.99 One Piece: World Seeker Season Pass.

All three episodes include new areas and more. Their release windows are as follows:

• Additional Episode #1 – Summer 2019
• Additional Episode #2 – Fall 2019
• Additional Episode #3 – Winter 2019

For users who would rather not purchase the Season Pass, each episode will be available individually for 1,000 yen (western pricing to be announced).

Bandai Namco also provided a first look at the recently announced free update for One Piece: World Seeker, which adds the Raid Suit costume for Luffy, a Photo Mode, post-game challenge missions (time attack, etc.), and special boss evolutions (stronger bosses and bosses that use new skills).

Bandai Namco has released the version 1.02 update for One Piece: World Seeker.

The update adds the following content:

• Raid Suit costume for Luffy
• Photo Mode
• Challenge Missions (available after clearing the main story)
• Specific bosses strengthened (Smoker and Crocodile) (available after clearing the main story)

Bandai Namco has released the debut trailer for One Piece: World Seeker‘s first additional episode downloadable content “The Void Mirror Prototype,” which is due out in the early summer for $9.99 / 1,000 yen.

In “The Void Mirror Prototype,” players take on the persona of Zoro and engage in battles using his Santoryu battle style as he works to uncover the secrets behind a mysterious robotics factory.

One Piece: World Seeker is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

One Piece: World Seeker DLC episodes 2 and 3 starring Sabo and Trafalgar Law announced

Due out this fall and winter, respectively.

One Piece: World Seeker will add Sabo and Trafalgar Law as playable characters via its second and third episode add-ons, the latest issue of Weekly Jump reveals.

The Sabo episode will launch this fall and the Trafalgar Law episode will this winter for $9.99 / 1,000 yen each. A Season Pass including the early summer-due Zoro episode in addition to the newly announced Sabo and Trafalgar Law episodes is also available for $29.99 / 2,700 yen.
