That was truly a great day, but I have to say that when Venom showed up roaring at the end, I jumped with joy and had a venomous grin form on my face.

Year One A.P.P.D.S. ... (After the Peter Parker Dance Scene)

I recall two of my biggest worries about the movie: Harry being left in the dust and the furthering of the Peter and Mary Jane storyline getting shortchanged. Boy was I wrong.

I remember way back before the first picture was released how people swore that Venom was not going to be in Spider man 3. There was a heated battle between Lizard fans and Venom fans before that photo.

This was the only Spider man movie I followed before it's release since I joined basically for X men 3. And when that sucked I remember thinking that there was no way Spider man would since it had the same cast crew and wasn't being rushed.

And I must say while I do actually like the movie all the negative buzz (some of which is unwarranted, some of which isn't) is still kind of a buzz kill. Even after a year people are still hating on this movie.

Iron Man made me nostalgic for both Spider man one and three so I too may watch all three sometime this week. If I have time.

Yea I still hear people talking about it, making up crap like "Yea Bruce was supposed to be Quentin Beck but at the last minute there were scheduling conflicts"

Morale of the story: To Lordofthenerds or anyone else, don't edit real info with fake stuff and send it to AICN. It will be funny at first, but they'll eat it up and believe every word of it and you'll have thousands of n00bs doing the same.

Really good to see the old gang in here!

I remember when they released the 7 minute clip; I was overwhelmed.

We all know it has its flaws, but there are things to be grateful for. At the very least, it made me join this fine website and introduced me to a lot of very cool people - such as yourselves.

I wish Marvel Studios developed earlier. Would've loved to see what they would've done with Spidey, though I respect Raimi's trilogy.

it sounds like they are keeping it very hush hush for now, so it might be a while till we hear anything significant.

I remember when Hobgoblin was "confirmed" to be the villain in this movie.

People thought Topher Grace was Maxwell Dillion aka Electro as well. Then everyone went nuts when Avi Arad announce there would be a fourth villian. Turns out it was only the symbiote.

Anyone recall that thread Tempest made after he got a copy of the novelization? There was a poster in there (he/she is banned now I think) that was really pissed over Sandman being Uncle Ben's killer. The poster was freaking out and posted "SANDMAN'S NOT BENZ REAL KILLER! OH NO, BONE SAW MAC GRAW KILLED BENJAMIN PARKER!?!?!"

Needless to say, it was pretty funny to imagine Randy Savage crouched outside of Ben's car waggling his fingers at poor Uncle Ben and saying "Three minutes of playtime!"

I remember how people said the black suit was not the symbiote suit. It was just a black & white pic. haha. I remember the 4th villian frenzy. I remember all of us staying up late waiting for the Venom pic and we got the pic of Eddie transforming into Venom and everyone was like "What the ****!" Overall, I was dissapointed with the movie, but it still closes an overall great trillogy succesfully. I'd give it a 7.5-8/10. Not a bad movie. Not a great movie either. The memories on this board, however, were worth the hype.

I can recall seeing the first ever teaser trailer on Attack of the Show. I couldn't stop smiling that whole day! Seeing those first images of the symbiote attaching itself to Peter and seeing him in the black suit hanging upside down....I got goosebumps.
I even remember when they showed that trailer at Comicon with Venom at the end. The web was full of people trying to see that video and I think that Sony went around taking down every version they saw.
I have such fond memories of all the movies. Good times.

I flipped out when I saw Harry in the teaser trailer. I was like "Yes! They remembered him!" For a while I was worried he had been forgotten to the likes of Venom and Sandman.

i loved spiderman 3 sure it may not have been the best in the trilogy but it held its own for certain

Thomas hayden church was the right choice for sandman

and the spidey360 Venom still stands proudly on my book shelf

No it was some bored ass **** who had nothing better to do and make up this story about buying some SM3 book at some book store. I had my doubts with him cuz he has giving conflicting info about things I knew were 100% right, so I didn't trust him much, but others did because he had been here for several years.

Then I knew he was definitly faking it when he said "O noes I don't have a camera or a scanner so I gotta wait 3 days for my only friend with technology to help me, oh wait its uploading 58% now 62 now 73"

I think I know who you're talking about. I recall him saying that the symbiote comes from the space shuttle that John Jameson was flying. Didn't he get banned?
