Ok, I knew he was part of some department but I could not remember which. Hope he still has his job.

I hope he still has his life. :ninja:

Umm...that wasn't me.

Yurka is wrong and illegitimate. I was never anti-Topher Grace in this movie.

The vanilla midget stuff was a riff on the haters that were against him. It was a sarcastic joke. The whole Vanilla Midget thing comes from Kevin Nash who used it to insult guys like Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko since they weren't big men and they weren't funny and goofy like him. Hence the name "vanilla midgets".

It was mostly based on the deranged rantings of Symbiotica who is now nowhere to be seen.

As closer and closer we got to this movie's release, and after more and more was revealed, the haters virtually disappeared or they flip-flopped.

umm no, I remember numerous times you stating you didnt want someone playing eddie brock who was 100 pounds soaking wet

He was joking.

yeah, he was definitely joking.

well it went on for weeks and it was ******ed

And that was the point of the joke. People (who shall remain nameless) went ON AND ON AND ON about how wrong for the role Grace was and that he was too thin and "couldn't bench press more than me and blah blah blah".

Hmm...methinks making all those Yurka Babies is impacting your thinking. :oldrazz:

you be thinking right,

but that went on forever and there were so many topher haters it was just stupid

Not a stupid as "What's in spidey's eye" that was a way longer debate .

Once The Comic-con stuff came in [The Topher debate ended.]

"ZOMG! TEH VENOMS!" and the teaser trailer.
In all my days of the Hype, I've never seen that many new members/guests in a forum. The Hype was pretty slow that day also. I had at least 2768643004 geekasms.

I should've had the Black Suit Pic in there instead of the Mystery of the Fourth Villain. *shrugs*

Symbiotica was the one that started saying, "100 pounds soaking wet Venom!"

I was simply repeating it in jest.

Yurka, everyone here gets it except you.

There was nothing in Spidey's eye.

Something that wasn't on the list was all the forum haters pretty much virtually disappearing. That or they flip-flopped magically again.

Yeah I was gone in the X men forums most of last year but you are right. One of the reasons I stopped coming here was because of all the hate. It seems to have stopped for the most part.

All good times, though, but as I said, the Lakiami Saga wins this one.

Thw whole 4th Villian thing was so annoying. I spent all my time trying to convince people there really wasn't a fourth villian, and all I can say is...I told you so.

well apparently,
i dont have the skill of sensing sarcasm through print, sorry

:csad: I feel bad for not picking the Lakiami Saga. :(

Well it's been a very long time since I was around here. Haven't roamed these boards since SM2 came out. I have to agree with Doc Ock though. There was nothing like the hype surrounding that first movie. Sure there were a few trolls around then too ( I do believe Bakerboy and Mr. Parker were one and the same) but I doubt there'll ever be as much excitement as then. That being said, I am ridiculously pumped for tomorrow night. I've gotten a quick refresher on the leaked Q&A, now what is Teh Venom all about? It's good to be back.

The highlight was when the majority of us oldbies all left the spidey 3 forum because it just became stupid. How many posters from 2003 and before still post in this forum? Not many a[art from the occasional drop in. Its just too cluttered here.

Yeah I haven't been on here since July.
