and which ones did you have the best and worst results with.

What happened to the prison pen pals post? :csad:

Dude that was a real site? LOL

Well, here are the ones which I tired for at least a few days...

Plenty of Fish (used it for weeks, no success.)
Zoosk(on facebook)(used it for a bit twice..no success and gave PC virus?)
E-Harmoney(?) (Used it for 3 months, FAIL)

I have tired others, but quickly quit them after either hours or a day or so due to poo selection (not enough people in area)

That one were you have to be hot to be accepted.

From the people I know who've tried them in general?

E-harmony for people who are looking for a real relationship.

Match for people looking for something less serious.

Craig's list if you looking for someone to ride you like Secretariat.

i know someone who uses okcupid (free)

a couple of people i know use plentyoffish (free). i made one for kicks, and all that hit on me are like much older guys :(. but i'm not looking for a date or anything anyways

i know a couple who met on myspace and are still married, and a couple who actually met on aol chats back in the day. they're still married and have two kids.

You would think with free sites, you get what you pay for and in general the pay sites, would pan out more because you figured people would be serious.

Apparently 1 in 5 married couples met online.

and eharmony has a 32% to 40% success rate.

That's pretty high I think. I'm not sure how that compares to other dating sites.

I tried one. It literally said there are no current matches for you.:csad:

I've tried OkCupid and I've actually met some really good friends on there, but no real dates yet.

I've known people to be most successful with e-Harmony.

www.gk2gk.com (Geek to geek.)

I actually got a date out of it. Just one. Lots of interesting and attractive women on that site...just none in my area. :cmad:

lowered expectations
