GREAT episode. Some really chilling moments. Great to see Joan take a stand.

I'm becoming more and more intrigued by Sally's storyline. I have a feeling she's going to take centre stage soon.

Don's storyline was awesome. It was crazy like American Horror Story. Glad it was just a dream but I'm pretty sure he'll fall off the wagon soon and cheat. I'm glad we got some closure to Joan and her husband. I was wondering when they would bring up the rape from season 2. Happy to see her stand up for herself. The scene between Peggy and Roger was amazing. Peggy was a bit drunk but I loved seeing her take Roger for all his money. Those two need more scenes together. Lastly, the Sally stuff is getting interesting. I loved her storyline from season 4 so I would be happy to see her take the front stage again this season. The actress is really good. Hope she gets more roles once Mad Men is done.

Don's fever dream was spine-chilling, it's a signal that he wanted to be a better man and be content with what he have with Megan. I think it was well done how the main theme of violence against women was explored in this episode and how it is perversely interpreted by society, it's very heavy but executed well.

GREAT EPISODE! This season is just amazing thus far. On the way of becoming the best season yet.

Glad to see Joan kick Dr. *****ebag to the curb. I hate that guy.

Draper
kicking that b*tch under his bed
made me LOL.

And then going back to sleep like nothing happened.

:hehe:

But to be fair she was hot though.

I didn't realize that it's Mädchen Amick (Shelley Johnson in Twin Peaks), which it's pretty fitting considering the surreal dream Don has.

:wow:

Then I found out that this episode was also aired on the same date the first episode of Twin Peaks.

:wow::wow:

Well this episode was awesome. When Peggy looked at her purse I was like... aww ****!

Don's dream was pretty chilling though. He's had so many *****es he just has to kill them now. :funny:

Best. Boxing match. Ever

I've been waiting to see [BLACKOUT]Pete[/BLACKOUT] get knocked the f*** out for the longest time

John Slattery directed this episode.

I haven't laughed so hard since the lawnmower incident. :lmao:

Bout time somebody put that git on his ass!

Hysterical! The fact that Don, Sterling, Cooper just kinda stood around and watched in disbelief had me rolling. Pete had that coming for a loonnggg time. :funny:

Great episode. The best part was Pete whining in the elevator at the end. "We're supposed to be friends", he says yet he makes fun of Lane behind his back. What a *****e.

Anyone else read Tom & Lorenzo's recaps? Such great insight into the series.

Yet another great episode. This season is truly fantastic. I hope Jarred Harris finally gets that Emmy nomination. He is fantastic.

That whole last ten minutes was fantastic. Lane beating the **** out of Pete. And even owning him verbally beforehand.

And the last moments were superb. I got chills when the credits rolled. I didn't realize it was the faucet droplets that were making that sound until I watched it again.

This is why Mad Men is in a league of its own.

I loved Cooper's "This is medieval," comment...while not doing a thing to stop it. :lmao:

That was beyond epic.

This was such a great episode when Lain comes in to the office and discloses the chewing gum incident and how it resulted in them losing Jaguar, it was hilarious to see everyone else's laid back reaction to it. Lain then going off on one on Pete was just gold and subsequently Pete not only getting his ass handed to him but to see him try to be like how Don used to be and fail was another awakening. (Pete trying to charm that high school chick)

It's nice to get a breather episode after the intensity of last week's. Pete's one hell of a whiny person and he did deserved that but he's interesting character to me and hearing him saying "I have nothing" breaks my heart. He have like, everything a man could hope for and yet he's unhappy and he seems to hate himself as much as Don did in the first four seasons.

There's many hints and foreshadowing of a character in the series dying, presumably suicide, I've presume it's Roger since he doesn't know longer what his role is in the company but after this, Pete seems more likely, who knows it might be too early to tell, nevertheless it's a fantastic episode. Slattery's directing was ace and both Jared and Vincent really shined through this episode.
