Really great episode last night, and yes that "spread her legs" line made me do a spit-take. :funny:

Tried AMC, but they didn't have beyond the first episode as far as I could tell.

I have the channel moving forward, saw last night's, but haven't seen the last three or so. Any help is appreciated.

And that scene with Sally must be a first for TV, having a kid walk in on that.

AMC does marathons on Sundays, probably have to wait until the season finale.

Only 6 episodes left?!

This episode is just the latest of the number of home-runs all episodes have been this season, seriously. That empty elevator shaft I took as an interpretation of a pit of despair he'll feel when Megan's out chasing her dream but I wonder if it'll evolve to the show's concept of a Chekov's gun? Just speculating.

And they use Beatles' "Tomorrow Never Knows”, just wonderful, and then it cut to Don turning it off, probably thinking "**** it."

So many good moments from this episode.

When Don delivered his line "I don't think about you at all" to Ginsberg, ice cold man, ice cold. The old Don is back. Then the sweet retribution on Betty when Sally fired back at her regarding Anna, it just shows that the apple didn't fall far from the tree, I laughed when she said "She's hungry, Bobby" during the Thanksgiving dinner.

It's just...

Love the shout-out to Dark Shadows, but this was pre-Barnabas though.

That was so subtle, but so great. :woot:

Also, Don's hell-centric ad is yet another in a long line of this season's allusions to death. Hmm...

Great episode. I can't stand Betty, what a *****. I'm glad Sally got the jump on her and her subtle snide remarks are smile-inducing. Pete's day dream over the foil Orr girl was a hilarious yet obvious fantasy and his remark about sleeping with her to her husband was hilarious. Great show.

i'm liking the don/ginsberg dynamic. feels like an offshoot of the pete/roger dynamic.

Finally, a Season 4 quality episode. This season hasn't really been as good as the last season. I'm so glad to be seeing more unhappy Don, though he's never really been happy, happy. His stuff with Ginsberg is classic Don and the Don I've missed.

And I'm glad Betty is back. This show has been missing something and I think it's been her.

It's funny you should say that, because I don't miss her one bit and whenever she's on screen I wish she wasn't.

See, I've been enjoying this season more than last season (even though last season gave me the greatest episode ever), and the lack of Betty may have something to do with that.

Yeah, I don't really care about Betty. All I care about is that office! Man, Don is never happy with anything, but I guess, he's only human right?

Couple of things
1) I like Don adn Joan together. Really nice stuff
2) What was Pryce's deal? What did he need the money for?
3) What was the deal with that hippie girl? I wasnt following her logic for banging Harry. although it was nice seeing Harry getting more story and seeing Paul again was cool

2. I believed it was tax liability, Lane hasn't been paying the taxes to the UK which at that point, the tax services has caught up with him.

3. Lakshmi did that so she could demand that Harry crush Paul's ambition of selling his script and since she wanted him to be committed fully to the Krishnas, but Harry didn't submit since he gave the ticket to L.A. to Paul.

Don and Joan together are quite great. That was the best part of the episode.

Yeah which is weird because as he said she already gave him what he wanted

Lakshmi knows she can use sex but hasn't fully figured out everything yet. She was a runaway.

It was great to see Paul return, he was one of my favourites during season 1-3 and didn't like that he wasn't around for season 4 at all, while boring Cosgrove returned. Of course I was disappointed to see him hit rock bottom and be so un-Paul, but it was still interesting and enjoyable. Hopefully he can rebound and write crappy sci-fi out in Hollywood and he's revisited again in season 6 or 7. I'm sure if he ever made it onto a writing staff he would feel the same way about no one at work liking him but maybe he'll have a family. Next up they have to check in on Sal!

Midge Daniels - poor heroin addict
Duck - unemployed alcoholic
Smitty - working for rival CGC
Freddy - let go again
Rachel Menken - married to a Jewish man
Paul - on his way to LA

I would love to see Sal back. I liked him a lot and the writers just kind of left him hanging.

Bringing back sal would make this show/season even better.

I wouldn't mind if Paul snapped out of it and became himself again and joined the agency. Though that seems unlikely at this point. I liked him a lot in the earlier easons.

This episode was just GREAT and so saddening. I wonder if this is going to be the full goodbye for Peggy and her exiting the show or if they still plan on trying to bring her back to the fold. Joan having to demean herself to get ahead was sad but I understand why did what she did in the end.

As much as Joan has always been portrayed as the sexpot that we all want, she's probably the deepest character on the show.

I'm very curious about this myself. I remember reading several months ago that they were considering cutting some characters for budgetary reasons, but I never thought it would be one of core cast members. I like Peggy a lot, so I hope that's not the case.

Such a sad episode. I'm really disappointed in all of the men save for Don
