My predictions are so:
May 4th - $44m
May 5th - $31m
May 6th - $25m

I think Spider-Man 3 will beat the Spider-Man 1 and 2 opening day records. I hope it will make forty to fifty million within the first day on May 4th. I hope that Spider-Man 3 will top X-men 3:The Last Stand 's all time gross. Shrek the third is being released on May 18th. I sense that Shrek 3 will be worse than the last two.

I would think, with the hype thats already started with the release of the teaser, Comic-Con coming soon to hopefully reveal some of Raimi's secrets, and the fact that its still 10 months away, that the opening will be record breaking. The anticipation has been there since the last movie but it just kicked into overdrive when the teaser came out.
