And surprisingly calmly at that.

Firstly, something we'd all pretty much figured, but developers are now in the ideas phase for Dead Space 2 and Mirror's Edge 2. ME2 is apparently having a bit of a reworking going on... wonder if that means they'll tone it down to appeal more to the hardcore?

A new Need for Speed is going to be revealed next month... goodie.

Sticking with EA still, Medal of Honour: Operation Anaconda is going to be set in Afghanistan, 2002. Personally, with this dynamic shift for the series, I think the subtitle should be "Modern Warfare", but that's just me.

Perhaps the most exciting confirmation comes from a recent trip to IO which proves that a new Hitman is coming. It'll be great to see what they do with a true next gen game. Maybe they'll get in my paintball level idea this time.

Also, a renowned UK publisher showed off a brilliant looking crime based game... but with nothing solid to announce on that, there's not really anything to bold in this paragraph.

Rockstar Toronto? Max Payne 3 baby. It's happening, believe it.

Now that Free Radical's down in the slumps, where does Battlefront 3 go? To Rebellion, apparently.

And the final little tid bit to put this scoop to sleep, is that Dead Rising 2 will be set in Las Vegas.

Oh and Sigourney Weaver turned down voicing Rippley in an Aliens game (not necesserily Colonial Marines) because there was too much swearing. :(

I figured a new Hitman was going to happen.

As for Max Payne 3, I'm iffy. I would like to see another Max Payne with Remedy as the developers. Since they're busy with Alan Wake, Max Payne 3 should wait. If Take Two decides to go ahead without Remedy, I'll pass.

I think that is more down to the fact the first game wasnt as succesful as they had hoped.

Max Payne was a pretty cool game, looking forward to a third one.
In fact, I might download them off steam and play them again.

Another Hitman would be cool, I didn't like the last one that much but 2/3 were pretty cool.

I'm glad to hear that sequels for Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, and Dead Rising are all in the works, and I've been waiting for a next-gen Hitman game for quite a while now. I'm also glad to hear Lucas Arts hasn't forgotten about Battlefront 3, but I am a little skeptical of whether or not Rebellion can pull it off since they are coming from a background in handhelds. We'll see, I guess. I'd love to be pleasantly surprised.

Dead Space 2
Mirror's Edge 2
More Need for Speed :down
The next Medal of Honor taking place in modern times. Gee, I didn't see that one coming. :whatever: :down
Max Payne 3
Dead Rising 2
