If I had a pet mouse...or rat...and a hawk snatched it away. Well, **** the bird laws, because I would kill that hawk with a shotgun. Of course, the gun would have to be outside and loaded too at the time.

Where I live is a bird saniatry(sp?). Basically you can't kill a bird in my town.

no, its only funny cause it was his pet... if kid was stupid enough to bring a mouse outside.... what did he expect... I have hawks and owls by my house... I know they are there, they are pretty tatatorial.... it's the kids fault

Simple. He knew there were birds of prey around. Maybe he feeds them all the time. He probably knew that one was there, maybe perched on a nearby tree. He let the mouse out of the cage, out doors, and then backed away from the cage while filming the mouse.

The question should be ... how can it NOT be staged?
