Last Day of Black History Month - We Gonna Take You Back...

Funny, but as the world stage has demonstrated time and time again, there are good and bad people in all walks of life. Imperialism was the diplomacy of choice by many asian and african nations throughout their long history as well.

When certain people see black Hypesters being visible -- even for one thread -- as getting "uppity", that's a sad insecurity. This thread is positive, so why fill it with negativity towards whites? -- which, if you were paying attention, no black person actually felt. It came from within yourself.

There are a lot of artists we're gonna run through here, whites and blacks alike. (For example, Thriller is a marvel of both Michael Jackson AND John Landis.) So instead of seeing your role as "the joykill", post your favorites to say thanks for the magic and memories, because without uniting their efforts and talents we wouldn't have these gems of black history to enrich American history as a whole. :yay:

i've got this album, the song weak is a stroke of linguistic genius....

i only wish the accapella version was the full song instead of the first verse and chorus

But if we play that great song at our wedding, people will come after us for ruining a classic. Kind of the way John Wayne Gacy ruined "Tears of a Clown" by calling it the song of his life. To this day I think they gave him DEATH instead of life imprisonment for tainting a classic.

No, sweets, we need something god-awful like Lionel Ritchie's Say You Say Me :hypelove::heart:
I don't know how we'd ruin it, heck the majority of people don't even know it exists considering it was a b-side track.

i mean we'd only be dancing to it rather than singing it...

i'm not dancing to no ****ing ritchie bollocks except for all night long...

:o

Well my friends, the time has come,
Raise the roof and have some fun :woot: All Night Long, but DeBarge's Rhythm of the Night owns it

:hears it playing on her youtube: Ooo, I found a beat :wow:

when i was younger i thought that penny toss was real....i wish i was that innocent again.....no greater feeling that seeing that penny toss and thinking it was actually real....made jacko a jillion times cooler...

I really wish someone would do a "Last Day of White History Month" parody of this thread with a bunch of Pat Boone, Bing Crosby, Doris Day, Tim Allen, Joan Rivers, Peter Jennings, Regis Philbin, etc. links.
:csad:
I'm too lazy to see that dream through.

What about hispanics? They're now the largest minority in the U.S. Don't they deserve they're own month?

I would make a last day of hispanic history month thread, but what do we got... Charo and Chespirito? :o

Don't be hatin' on Eddie. :cmad:

Do You Remember the Time?

Do you remember
When we fell in love
We were young
And innocent then
Do you remember
How it all began
It just seemed like heaven
So why did it end?

Do you remember
Back in the fall
Wed be together
All day long
Do you remember
Us holding hands
In each others eyes
Wed stare
(tell me)

Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
When we first met
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time

Do you remember
How we used to talk
(ya know)
Wed stay on the phone
At night till dawn
Do you remember
All the things we said like
I love you so
Ill never let you go

Do you remember
Back in the spring
Every morning birds would sing
Do you remember
Those special times
Theyll just go on and on
In the back of my mind

Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
When we first met girl
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time

Those sweet memories
Will always be dear to me
And girl no matter what was said
I will never forget what we had
Now baby

Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
When we first met
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time

Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
When we first met
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time

Remember the times
Ooh
Remember the times
Do you remember girl
Remember the times
On the phone you and me
Remember the times
Till dawn, two or three
What about us girl

Remember the times
Do you. do you, do you,
Do you, do you
Remember the times
In the park, on the beach
Remember the times
You and me in spain
Remember the times
What about, what about...

Remember the times
Ooh... in the park
Remember the times
After dark..., do you, do you, do you
Remember the times
Do you, do you, do you, do you
Remember the times
Yeah yeah
Remember the times

Dude, if anyone feels your Hispanic pain, it is I.

They can't even give Hispanics their own month they have to give them half of one month and half of the other.

Hispanic Heritage Month
September 15 - October 15

Well, they were supposed to have September, but they showed up late like they're late for everything else, so they had to give them part of October, too.

B1tch, b1tch, b1tch. Us Micks only get ONE friggin' day and it's just a glorified excuse for people to pretend they're Irish, wear green and get trashed. :cmad:

Not really. They also have to be remembered for The Holocaust, so it evens out.

Why was the Black History thread closed? Geez...we had one more day.
