Anyone watching this? I actually think it's pretty good.

Well, for the first time in a long time, NBC has done something right with this show. I've been watching every week.

Lauren Graham replaced Maura Tierney.

I've always liked Monica Potter, ever since Boston Legal.

I remember they tried to make a "Parenthood" series in the 90's with Leo Dicaprio.

I like this show. I've been watching every week. Crosby's girlfriend is HOT!

Although he was okay in Punk'd, this show is the only show where I can tolerate Dax Sheppard.

I cant help but hate him for the fact that he's dating Kristen Bell.... that bastard. :cmad::argh:

:hehe:

Been digging this since the pilot. Especially like they went the opposite route with the Dax Sheperd/Tom Hulce character. He's making a legit effort to be with his kid. Although I'd be surprised if it actually turns out to be his.

Enjoying it while I can because the ratings have been ****ting the bed. Only way NBC saves this is their crazy need to fill in programming this fall. Knock on wood.

I have no idea why, but hearing Peter Krause repeatedly yell "It's facebook official!" was just the most hilarious thing to me.

They must have the record for the use of the term *********ion in a single primetime show.

They need to drop the "And then the whole family got together to celebrate" ending.

I'm afraid I have to agree with you there. At least they need to stop doing it every episode. It just seems forced. Yeah, we get it, they're a close family, but even the closest of families dont get together that often... and certainly not with every single family member.

There are families like that actually....not mine :D Anywho it's been good and pretty real some of the acting has been really solid. Laura graham is so annoying and so is her daughter. I would have love Maura Tierney in this why did she drop out?

What else has Peter Krause been in he's very convincing?

Maura Tierney dropped out due to health issues.

Peter Krause was in Six Feet Under.

Don't get me wrong. Really enjoying the show. One of the few I'm watching on a weekly basis.

"Oh thank God! Craig T. Nelson resolved his E.D. problems! Let's get the whole family together to celebrate!" I'll excuse that ending for a li'l while longer considering the show is still starting off.

I think Lauren Graham is great... :csad:

What's six feet under about? Is it good? Still on?

Loved the show this week anybody not wathcing should. Sort of reminds of how Kings was so brilliant and I didn't think anyone was watching.

Peter Krause definitely fits this role better than his Dirty Sexy Money role. And yes, Erica Christensen's boobs are awesome!

For a series based off a favorite 80's movie of mine, I'm surprised how much I like it, including the storylines and all the actors/characters.

Haved to check it out. Actually felt really bad for emo girl. Can't wait to into Jabar's b-day and grandad's gaff:D

I'm starting to actually like Lauren Graham. I always found her annoying with her Gilmore Girls role but I like her role in this show.

I'm just surprised they decided to do another series based off the movie. They tried it right after the movie came out and it starred Ed Begley, Jr. in Steve Martin's role. And if I remember correctly, Leonardo Di Caprio played Joaquim (back then he was still "Leaf") Phoenix's role.
