Everyone knows Paris Hiltons career is built out of doing outrageous stuff. No one was really shocked that Paris said that stuff where as they where when Richards did as people didn't perhaps expect him to be like that. Also the situation in which he made his comments had a lot to do with it. Not that anything I have just said is an excuse for eithers actions.
