after the credits there is a web swinging scene of spiderman.

first i thought that this was part of the credits where tehy showed scenes from 1 and 2.
but no. this is supposed to be part of spiderman 3.

what did they do? they used 100% the same footage from spiderman 2. in spiderman 2 it was sunset so there was an orange filter. what did they do? they changed the lighting so that it looks different. then they made some editing and they mirrored it on the other side.
they obviously didnt render this again because then they would change the background and maybe some of spiderman movement. this is the same

this was a big budget summer blockbuster. the budget was more 200 milions.
and they use CGI scenes from previous movies?

i would be ashamed if i was raimi because this is realy bad.

this is cheap and pathetic IMO.

Ah, at first I thought this was another one of those threads where they say there is a scene after the credits at the end of the film . . . but I see where you're going. I know which bit you mean.

I wonder if this was what made people think there was a 'movie within a movie'?

You mean after the opening titles? Get it straight. And why are you just now complaining about this anyway?

because when i first saw the movie i was not 100%.

i just opened this thread to writte my thoughts on this. mods can delete it if they want. its not so important.

I see. It was definitely random lol

The scene after the opening credits? That is supposed to be the end of SM2, probably the helicopter cams that he swing in front of. It was to close off the ending credits which were recaps of 1 and 2. The part where he does the double flip isn't in SM2 either.

This thread is pretty redundant. I'm sure you could have found another thread to complain about this rather minor issue stead of opening up this one.

I also think that "the city" were just showing shots of Spidey swinging that they "manage to capture" and are playing it up on the view screen.

agreed stupid thread...it was supposed to show Spider-man 2's swinging from the end of the movie after the beginning credits...this thread signifies stupidity....
in spiderman 2 it was sunset in spiderman3 its not.

i know that this is your movie guys and when someoen comes to writte somethin like this you are hurt. so you have to writte that it is stupid.i get it :o

doesnt change the fact that a 200 milion budget movie used scenes from spidey 2.

When it was meant to use the scenes from Spider-Man 2 why would you make a whole new Spider-Man 2 Final Swing when it was meant to show Spider-Man 2's swinging....

And I said it was stupid because you are wrong and too slow to understand that it was meant to use the same swinging....

Oh my lord...
the way it was showed in spidey 3 IMO it was meant like a different scene.

sorry guys :csad:

p.s. you can insult me all you want. maybe you will all feel better after that.

It was footage for a tv sceen in Times Square. Sure no camera can do that...

but of all the things to nitpick about? Talk about desperate. I think this thread is what it's title says.

then why post here if you dont care?

To let you know how frivolous this is. C'mon, of all things to complain about. Why don't we complain about Peter Parker's Jeans next? :whatever:

I don't need any damn screen caps because I don't care what you were saying because I know you were wrong screencaps or bottle caps I don't give a damn bub....

You'd think I'd post something like this :wolverine :ninja:

so we shouldnt complain ? if someon can make a thread to say how awsome it was to see this and this than why is this so bad?

can we talk about this movie or since it is already out it is over?

Actually, talking about how awesome this scene is would be even more worse and bizarre.

so we shouldnt complain ?

There really wasn't anything to complain about, it was a newbie question if you ask me. A couple of shots were meant to be the final swing emphasizing the end of the credits and the approaching Spider-man day since they had Spidey posted all over time square.

The scene was playing on TV, it was meant to "pick up" where the second one left, the webswinging itself was irrelevant to the story. Way too much ado about nothing.

yeah man i know what you mean. I didnt expect to go into SM3 to see rehashed webslinging. I expected to see all NEW breathtaking shots of ol' webhead. I was dissappointed thats how they started the movie too. It was the herald of things to come, I guess. :(

I noticed. And not just once. I spent a few weeks saying this but defenders got all jumpy. It's still true though.

Spiderman 3 is the new Batman & Robin even when Batman & Robin didn't use rehash CGI.

I don't see the problem. It kind of reminded me of the back to the furture movies where the first five minutes or so is footage from the last installment. I thought it just made a cool connection to Spidey 2. I don't see what's wrong. Plus it wasn't like they were using it and saying that it was new webslinging, it was a video in Time Square, so I can see it being used there.
