Pathfinder

Yea, My girlfriend thought it was a horror film... in other words yea they looked scary.

Am I the only one who thinks this looks lame?

Cool concept, bad excecution.

Vikings VS Indians, huh?

You did know that that fight actually did happen?

The vikings were actually the first people to discover the American continent, years before Christopher Columbus (who actually discovered nothing, since he lived his whole life thkining he travelled to India).

You think we all descend from Spainish and British colonist, but the truth is that we have Normandy in our blood.

Yes I know. I have actually thought of writing a script about it. Oh well, too late.

You cant generalize Americans to the first people to discover it seeing as the America we know today is descendant from the British and Spanish colonist, which was enlarged by an influx of IRish and Asian immigrants. And then finally the first African American slaves. Vikings didnt even stay in America, they are travellers by nature. Maybe the NAtive American bloodline has Viking blood in it.

Pathfinder

Release Date: September 8, 2006

Plot Summary: An action-adventure set in the time when Vikings tried to conquer North America, "Pathfinder" tells the heroic story of a young Norse boy left behind after his clan shipwrecks on the Eastern shores. Despite his lineage, the boy is raised by the very Indians his kinsmen set out to destroy. Most sites have this film coming out in July... but comingsoon has it down for September.

I find it very hard to belive Marcus Nispel is doing a movie without any blood and gore...

The TCM remake didn't have nearly as much as it could've had. There are far more visceral versions of several scenes on the dvd that he talks about taming because he thought it was too much.
I don't find it all that hard to believe.

He's doing a movie about American McGee's "Alice". That means:

a)That he keeps doing movies with lots of blood, gore and guts because that seems to be the only thing he knows how to do

and

b)That he's too busy with that project to worry about a movie about vikings.

Posters....the release date is now March 07

Well It was set to come out in Sept, but they figured it would fail so they pushed it back to January. Smart move imo.

The trailer looked- eh. Didn't know what it was about or why it looked the way it did.

But, after reading the graphic novel and looking back on the trailer. I'm actually anxious to see this now. Sound be entertaining at least...

It has viking's in it. Nothing more needs to be said. I must watch it.

I looks good, I hope it doesn't try to be too fanciful.
