PayPal/eBay help

I made my first sale today and the buyer paid me a few moments ago. I went to the email I received and clicked "claim your payment" but it brings me to a page to sign up for PayPal (which I already have). I check my eBay account and it's linked to the email of my PayPal account. I check PayPal and see that it doesn't have my eBay account linked so I do that. I click "Claim your Payment" again but it brings me back to the page to sign up for PayPal.

Can anyone help me out?

Normally it works like (for me)

You sell something
They buy it
You send an invoice or paying instrustions
They pay via paypal
conformation that you have been paid is sent
you goto your paypal account and the money is there
Leave it there or transfer it to your bank

I have never had to "claim your payment"

I figured out what the problem was. I put my non-primary email address for PayPal in the auction listing.

All I had to do was make it the primary email and I received the payment.
