Pedro Pascal is Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic

I haven’t seen many people slam his acting abilities
I've heard a lot of people talk about Miles the same way a lot of people talk about Jesse Eisenberg. Like they have a face that makes you want to punch it. Apparently, they both have a tendency to play arrogant roles that rub people the wrong way. I have nothing against either actor myself, aside from Teller's involvement in the Fan4stic debacle.

Well now that you mention it, I have seen the “punchable face” comment, but that’s not an insult to his acting ability.:funny:

It is if he's playing a character that you're not supposed to want to punch in the face.

Miles Teller reminds me of a young John Cusack. That being said, Miles Teller would make a good X-Man, not sure which mutant, but I think he would be able to do a competent job in the X-Men franchise.

^ for a second there thought you were actually suggesting him for X-Man {as in Nate Grey}

Regarding Reed's apparent death in DS MoM, I was thinking what if that was a Life Model Decoy? I would be fine with Reed explaining that he sent a variant of himself or even a LMD as a contingency plan haha

That would be great, but I’m pretty sure the film-makers’ intent was brutality, and they wouldn’t want to walk that back.

And I’ve been beating this dead horse for a while, but

an 838 Sue showing up in the MCU for revenge could be story-potential gold.:D

so like a good version of Scarlet Witch?

How would a version of Malice grab you?

The possibilities are endless, but the events that shan’t be named set up some interesting possibilities.

And if it were me, I’d keep her identity unknown until the end for a shock reveal.

At least that would allow him to live up to his "Smartest man alive" tag.

I think it's entirely possible there is some sort of twist like that regarding what we saw. This is one of the three things that occurred to me.

Stupid question but I am not sure what you mean by Malice

i am not as knowledgeable of Marvel Comics in the F4 department.

It’s actually a story I’m not fond of in which Sue turns into an evil badass and calls herself “Malice”.

I can’t remember the exact details, but Psycho Man and Hate Monger were involved and focused the aggressive, angry elements of Sue.

I would personally hope they don’t do that with 616 Sue, but MOM has set up the possibility of having an alternate Sue play the role, and it could fit logically with events.

So she could come after Wanda and/or Dr. Strange and ideally the FF would be involved as well, trying to help Wanda and/or Dr. Strange.

And like I mentioned, Ideally I’d like her to be a masked mystery villain until the end when they pull off her mask and… “Oh my God! It’s Sue!”

He’s a good actor but a terrible Reed Richards.

I haven’t seen many people slam his acting abilities, and I think most of us were with him when he was talking s*** to Josh Trank.

If I recall, Trank Tweeted something like “At one point, I had a great film” and Teller responded with something like: “No you didn’t”

:funny:

I remember being really excited about it when he was cast. The guy is a phenomenal actor and I think in a better movie his take on Reed could have been really good. But it wasn't to be. Nobody could have salvaged anything from the farce we got in the end.

would also make him a total d***
(which does fit certain takes on the character too I guess)
unless they were all LMDs, but, if he only switched himself out leading everyone else into that fight knowing they'd most likely die, but chose to only save himself, yes, very much sooo

I watched Doctor Strange last night and

I wasn't a huge fan of the John Krasinski fan-casting as Reed, but his brief appearance really sold me! Not that it's saying much, but he's already the best Reed we've seen on the big screen (though I did like Ioan Gruffudd). I don't know what the casting plans are for the FF movie, since he was playing a variant, but I'd love it if he reprised the role.

No need for spoiler tags anymore. Krasinski will be back. He's too awesome as Reed Richards.

I don't know about awesome. LOL, but I think he'll be more than fine in the role. At this point, I just don't see any way for Marvel to say "oh, he's just going to be the 838 version and not in Marvel prime". That ship has sailed and it's Krasinski. It's a done deal. I personally think they're going to get Blunt as Sue and I don't for a minute believe the "she's not interested" stuff. I think that's Marvel's way of keeping us fans on the high wire.
