He's back!

2009

An epic adventure, the characters get out of the playhouse.

Who else is excited?

I like the first movie, and hated the show. Unless Tim Burton comes back im not watching. Besides you have no prove that it is.

Oh dear sir yes I do!

"Pee-wee's Playhouse: The Movie is a forthcoming film by Paul Reubens.
Reubens' third scripted movie, written at the same time as his adult-oriented Pee-Wee script, was greenlighted in late Summer 2006. He first announced he had finished the script on the Late Show with David Letterman. Filming is supposed to start in early 2007.
The title is unlike the plot because it involves Pee-Wee outside of the Playhouse and in the real world."

I read about this a while ago, then read that it was cancelled.

lol remember the time Pee Wee was convicted for having kiddie porn in his house. He was selling it I believe and Michael Jackson was at the top of the list on his contacts.

I remember him getting caught *********ing at an adult XXX movie theater but never heard about the kiddie porn incident. Either way never thought that he would ever be allowed to do the Pee Wee character again after that.

Laurence Fishburne should return to reprise the role of Cowboy Curtis.

Hopefully he will ^

and to deathshead2, PAUL ****ING REUBENS confirmed this himself, so stop crying, it's happening.

The Man Who Killed Don Quixote is happening also. They confirmed it. They started to shoot...

Well, we all know how that went.

^Yeah, I mean I just saw that barnyard Pee Wee movie and noticed the major lack of quality and I'm pretty sure because Burton had nothing to do with it.

Yeah, I'm not much a fan of Big Top Pee Wee as of Big Adventure, Tim Burton's creativity into his movies are unique and amazing.

Yeah that movie sucked thankfully i've only seen parts of it.

I'm also not a fan of the Pee Wee that was portrayed in Big Top, with all the sexuallity, Pee Wee should never be tied in with that, cause he is for kids, maybe throw some jokes in only the adults would understand.

They started the movie filmed a little then quit due to alot of problems. Then later they tried doing it agian and ran out of money. Every now and then someone will say the project is back on but nothing comes of it.

Pee Wee never was for kids to begin with. Paul started out using Pee Wee as a joke for adults.

True. I've seen some of the more adult Pee Wee shows that I believe aired on HBO back in the 80's which predated the kids tv show. A Pee Wee movie more akin to something like "Theres something about Mary" would bring everything full circle to a certain degree.

In the plot one of the characters is missing from the playhouse, and it's kind of a on the road movie like Big Adventure, who could be missing?
