Anyway, Peter Cullen also confirmed a trilogy of Transformers in one recent interview with IESB. He also said and he's informed by the producer "... be available the next year".

After Megan Fox and Dreamworks, the confirmation from Peter once again, we can almost be sure that TF trilogy is something to look forward to.

Roll out for the sequel! yeah!

Good news but this doesn't mean it will happen. If Transformers fails at the box office (which is very unlikely to happen) then we won't get any more.

Ahhh...So that's what he looks like now.

yea, that's what "optimus prime" looks. :D

That's exactly what happened in '98 with that other 'adaptation.' And that one didn't even really "fail" in box office numbers. But, the sequels were scrapped anyway.

But it's still good news. Peter Cullen is such a great guy. I hope he got paid mucho for the movie.

I had typed out this ultra long post in regards to your many Godzilla references and comments, but unfortunately the boards messed up and the computer didn't save what I typed when I tried to back page.

BASICALLY -

Godzilla sucked. Absolutely horrible. Even though it did O.K., I don't think it had much of a sequel future in Hollywood. If so, someone somewhere would have picked it up and would've rebooted the franchise. In the event Transformers doesn't turn out to be the movie you hoped for, it'll still be infinitely better than Godzilla. Transformers will do well and sequels are inevitable.
