Simple. Peter's parents died when Pete was an infant, there are gravestones. Pete lived his entire life with his uncles. End of the Story.

Agreed. They not important. Asm movies bore us so bad with that.

Worse, TASM made them a theme and narrative linchpin. . . and by "they" I of course mean "him". Twisted the core of Spider-man around so he became unrecognizable.

No parents. They died long ago, Peter doesn't even really think about them, not compared with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May.

Honestly I hope they don't even really mention Uncle Ben. For once let's just have Peter be "normal" enough. Yeah he can reference his uncle here and there. But now at this point, it doesn't need to define him.

He's a superhero, he's not going to stop unless Ultimate Ice man and Human Torch Storm pop up and prove ineffective in stopping one man.

Disagreed. Uncle Ben need to be mentioned because he reason Peter is hero Spider-Man. He too important to Peter's life to get no mention.
