edit; can you give me a rundown of whats happened so far?

There where four acts down so far, and a model (forgot her name) the guy from Leno and Carmen Electra are the ones helping the contestants demonstrate the acts.

The first act was done my mental touch, the second act was done with a contestant not feeling pain, the third was with a contestant who could cheat death, and I forgot the fourth one cause I was watching something else. But judging by the judges, they didn't like the fourth act.

Gellar is doing a mind challenge with the viewers at home. I'm participating in it right now and he's going to reveal some figure he chose.

The third act was the best so far.

Yeah I saw the third and fourth. The fourth seemed staged cause the guy said at the end all four numbers, and didn't leave out the last one.

I thought that too. Still it was enjoyable to watch and it did well in the ratings.

I don't tend to think very highly of things associated with Uri Geller.

 

[Sebastos]

Neither do I, but still I watched and it was entertaining.

So the show is good, or it's a complete fraud?

It would be much better Tivoed so you can skip through a lot of the bull****, but it was alright.

Do you believe in what they are doing, or does it just make you mad?

Ive always been facinated with magic, so it's kind of back and forth. It's live, so sometimes the performers slip up a little bit and you can tell they are just doing all this from memory and it's really not a trick, but some of it's pretty good.

Like the dude with the Russian Roullette or whatever game. When it got down to the last two I was like "holy **** this guy might actually stab himself in the head with a nail."

Lost all the lawsuits he brought against anyone who called him one too (IIRC).

The only phenomenon about him is that anyone is daft enough to believe his act.

Yeah, I started cracking up when that "I'll send you a symbol telephathically throught the TV" thing was over, and Star won by 1%.

Yeah, same here. I kept telling my little sister that if he doesn't get the right one, that could be the end of him. I literally couldn't wait to see him pull it off, and that's why I say it was the best act of the show.

Yes, I believe he was. On an episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" Uri was asked to do a trick and couldn't preform. Carson made a joke at him, forget the line and then he was believed to be a fraud. At the start of Phenomenon, they also showed that clip.

Maybe it's my inner skeptic, but it's far too easy to fake magic on TV.

Chris Angel really pissed off that one guy tonight.....I had guests over, so didn't hear it all.....but people had to pull them apart and keep them seperated.

I had people over, so didn't catch it all.......but this one guy did an act where he said spirits would posess him and give him info, when he was done and Angel was supposed to give his critique, Angel said something like he would give him a million dollare to prove it was real (or something to that effect)....the guy started cussing at him, Angel jumped up and cussed back (the cesnsors cut the sound), the guy lunged for Chris and the host ran over and grabbed him.....then they went to commercial.
