photoshop help

I have a problem. when I started up my photoshop today it will not let me use any of my tools. It worked fine on Wednesday but today I can't use anything on it. Is there a way to reset them to work other then haveing to reinstall the program? I tried reseting the palet but that did nothing for me.

I Think it is working now. I clicked off actions and they work again. I don't remember clicking it on though. I hope that fixes it in the long run.
