..how do you say, get an image off the net, put it in Photoshop, manip it (i know how to do this)...then get into back into say 'Superherohype' so you can post it as an IMG ...?

I have a Mac, btw.

Appreciate it.

Save the image. Open it in Photoshop. Manip it [you know how to do this], then go to a picture hosting site, and host it. Then put the URL in the img tags, like so....

Picture hosting site? I'm not very computer savy. Please elaborate.

www.photobucket.com

You can't show us images that are on your PC. They need to be on the web already. To do that, you need someplace to put your pic...a HOST. Once you have your pic on the web, you can link it here using

Thanks. I'll give it a try!

Ok, i signed up but they don't tell you the steps on how to go about getting your image onto the site. I'm lost. Like i said, i'm not computer savy...HELP!

EDIT-

1. Open File in Photoshop
2. Manip or do whatever you want with it.
3. Click Save to Web NOT Save when finished.
4. Sign in to Photobucket
5. Click Choose File
6. Pick which picture to upload
7. Click Upload it

you are going to get a "invalid Format warning MiME type"

or sum'n like that...

I found a loophole...

If there is no better way...

hit "apple+shift+3"

it takes a screen capture which is on your desktop...
then drag to iPhoto,
edit it down to size,
then upload...

Loophole.

He is not asking for a screencap, though. But yeah, that could work. It's a bit tiring.

Another one is apple-shift-4.

i had this problem earlier today, noone helped me...

so i TOOK THE LONG ROUTE OKAY???

give me a better way... :cmad:

it saves it as an ".psd"
it needs to be in a dif. format like ".gif" or ".jpg"

if you save it as a ".jpg"
it says its invalid or something, invalid: Image/Psd

Yeah, I just saw on the other thread. (jag's)

I think that's because you're just renaming the file extension. Try clicking "save optimized as."

I got ImageReady and Photoshop mixed up. Sorry. :(

When you save it which do you click save as or save?

Ok, I finally found out how to convert .psd to .jpg.

Either click File Save As or Save To Web.
