Pick A Marvel Director To Helm A DC Movie Thread

Since James Gunn has shown directors can successfully make the leap from Marvel to DC, I want to know what other Marvel directors do you think would be a good fit for DC properties?

For me:

Edgar Wright for Booster Gold or Plastic Man!

Scott Derickson I think would fit be a good fit for Justice League Dark.

Well, for a Max Fleischer style, retro , Superman 1940s film I would go with Joe Johnston.

Captain America First Avenger and Rocketeer would have given him ample experience to make a 1940s style Superman film

But that's for a very specific , retro version of a Superman film.

If it's a modern day Superman film than the Russo's would be good imo.
Films like CATWAS and Infinity War demonstrate the can balance more grounded settings with more fantastical elements.

Scott Derrickson's talked before about Constantine, right? Would like to see him helm something like that, Swamp Thing, anything in the JLD arena. Could definitely go rated R.

Maybe Kenneth Branagh for something on New Gods. I really liked the Shakespearean feel of the first Thor film and have missed that in its sequels.

I’ve seen quite a few people over the years recommend the Russo brothers for Green Arrow and I think that’d be a dope pairing.

I’m confident Ryan Coogler could direct the hell out of a Superman movie, black protagonist or otherwise.

Taika Waititi: Booster Gold, Ambush Bug (a guess on my part, my knowledge of this character is very limited), or even…and stick with me here…Batman.
