Jessica Alba is joining Dane Cook in the Lionsgate comedy Good Luck Chuck, directed by Mark Helfrich, reports Variety.

Cook plays a serial dater who gets a reputation that any woman dating him will rebound into meeting her soulmate. When the man meets his true love, he must find a way to end the streak and keep her. Alba will play that woman.

Josh Stolberg wrote the script, and Mike Karz is producing. Shooting begins next month.

Alba, who's currently filming the GreeneStreet Films comedy "Bill" opposite Aaron Eckhart, is poised for encores in sequels to Fantastic Four and Sin City.

Jessica Simpson has reportedly persuaded sexy pals Eva Longoria, Jessica Alba, Eva Mendes and Carmen Electra to don rollerskates for her new music video.

The promo for her new single Public Affair is being shot by X-Men: The Last Stand director Brett Ratner, who also did her Dukes Of Hazzard video These Boots Are Made For Walking.

The video begins shooting later this month in Los Angeles and will be released on June 30th.

A comedy in 10 short stories, each inspired by one of the Ten Commandments.

I'm not sure how accurate the variety ad is about "Good Luck Chuck". "Ben" is a 6 week shoot which pretty much puts her right up to the August 28th start date for her shooting F4....and Variety just had it up a couple of weeks ago that "The Ten" was going to start its shooting schedule in July as well....very confusing......I love the fact she's working, but still very confusing....
