Why did Entertainment Weekly dub the 25-year-old Alba — who recently hosted the MTV Movie Awards — as our Must Girl of Summer? Just one of the many reasons: She was the most-searched actress on Yahoo! in May

Alba got her big break on television in 2000, playing the heroine of Dark Angel. ''There was something about her — an attitude, a sass — that made me keep thinking of her,'' series creator James Cameron told EW in '01.

About branching out into different kinds of movies (including the female-friendly Honey: ''After Dark Angel, I knew I had the men covered,'' Alba says, ''but I wasn’t relatable to women, so I had to show a softer side of myself.''

''Leading ladies in Hollywood usually have blond hair and blue eyes,'' Alba told EW's Benjamin Svetkey. ''But people today... They're more ethnically mixed. Today, the girl next door looks more like me.''

''She's always thinking about what's the next best thing for her career,'' says Tim Story, who directed Alba in Fantastic Four. ''She became a sex symbol so young, but she knew she wanted more than that. And she is more than that.''

One of the films on Alba's slate: the medical thriller Awake. ''It's not just that she’s talented or gorgeous... People respond to her as a personality,'' says her costar in that movie, Hayden Christensen

Why did Alba — who doesn't have experience with comedy — take the MTV Movie Awards gig? ''Nobody thinks I can be funny,'' she says, ''but if I want to do romantic comedies I'm going to have to prove that I can take the piss out of myself.''

Among Alba's future goals: producing (''Tom Cruise has done it better than anyone,'' she says). In the meantime, she'll reprise her roles in Fantastic Four and Sin City for sequels

Attention, gaming geeks: Alba's developing her own title. ''I may be one of the characters, like Tiger Woods is in his game,'' she says

EW picture editor Michael Kochman snapped behind-the-scenes photos of Nields' shoot. Alba, of course, is used to this kind of attention from shutterbugs she even spoofed her adventures with the paparazzi in an MTV ad

Alba will show us more funny in Bill, a 2007 comedy starring Aaron Eckhart (she replaced Lindsay Lohan in the role)

Ahem. Yes, Ioan´s hair is naturally very curly and, luckily for me- , even when he usually has it much shorter and not so unruly in the movies,many of his roles demand a very unruly look, very similar to the wild thing what he´s showing now, mainly
Hornblower

and Lancelot

In other roles the hair is tamed, flat ironed or simply hidden under a wig. The results of shuch heressies are, generally speaking,odd.

It Airs This Coming Thursday June 29th 10 pm central on Comedy Central I'm sure there talk about her experience hosting the awards and Her next movie to film co-starring up and coming comic star Dane Cook. Which are probably among the things there discuss.
