Its the same shade of red and blue as Superman's costume.

No matter how good of a performance Leto might give, the Joker's design is horrid. I will never like it. I was hyped when he was cast because I thought we might get an Alex Ross type classic Joker. I could look past the stupid metal grill if he didn't have those ridiculous tattoos and had a purple coat on. On Facebook anytime I say something like that I'm scorned for daring to have an opinion without seeing the movie.

I could look past most of the tattoos...except for the forehead one. Might as well say #edgy.
