Pineapple Express

I loved this film. I saw it yesterday and I love it, my fave line is in my sig.

Lol, everybody in the theatre was stoned but me and my buddy.

Pineapple Express star James Franco has revealed that we could be seeing a Pineapple Express-meets-Superbad flick on the big screen!

Franco told MTV:

“Even before ‘Superbad’ came out, I think the studio was trying to get [Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg] to write a sequel, but they really didn’t want to write a sequel. I guess the kids would go to college or something like that [that was the studio's idea]. And so, an answer to that was to do a ‘Superbad’/'Pineapple Express’ crossover, an unprecedented crossover movie with two directors, Greg Motolla and David Gordon Green, each directing half of the movie and somehow these characters get together, which doesn’t make sense at all, but could work.”

Rogen himself has stated that he’d be interested in a “Pineapple” sequel. But how would he combine the two universes? Just ask Franco.

“I could sell them [the characters from 'Superbad'] something, but I think we’d want some action, so you know, somehow the kids get in trouble somehow and we have to get them out of it. And Seth plays characters in both movies, so somehow we’d have to kill one of them off.”

LOL that would be hilarious. I guess Seth's characters in Superbad and Pineapple Express could be twin brothers or something. It doesn't have to make sense at all!

heres the thing about forgetting sarah marshall...i thought it was hilarious and i could end up liking it more than 40 year old virgin....but when i saw it in theaters the speakers were blown so it would cut out on some of the jokes and parts of it...so i never got to fully enjoy it....i left the theater really angry...so ill have to see it again...but it was pretty freakin hilarious though...if i had to, out of all the apatow movies i would rank them
1. Pineapple Express
2. Knocked Up
3. 40 Year Old Virgin
4. Anchorman
5. Forgetting Sarah Marshall
6. Superbad
7. Talladega Nights
8. Walk Hard

This movie was hilarious, oh my god. I want to narrow down a few scenes I laughed so hard at but its hard. I'll go with these:

Dale telling off the teacher at the school

"**** THE PO-LICE!"

The black hitman or whatever getting run over by Red

SPOILERS:

I loved how Red kept dying and coming back throughout the movie.
The part where Dale breaks up with his girlfriend becaused she shows she is immature by taking a guy like himself back. lol

Another good one:

"I look the Hamburglar"

But no.

That crossover should never. ever. happen.

I almost thought were going to see a crossover twice.

The first being in the high school , it would of been funny if mclovin , seth and evan walked by or even the girls.

The second was during the car chase they wound up in a parking lot that looked similar to the one used in superbad.

Seth Rogen stated he would do a sequel to Pineapple Express but not Superbad. The studios are pushing hard for superbad 2 . i really liked superbad but i hope that never happens. I think of Apatow flicks as stand alones.

It would have been cool to see Seth (Superbad) walking with Jules at the scene where they ended up in that mall parking lot, so it'd be like the movies were happening at the same time.

I thought hurricane season was over.

:up::up::up:

Good flick. Red ends up being a guy I like. The action was hilarious!!:woot:
