Pirates Of The Caribbean v/s Master and Commander.

Which one of these two films was the best film. I know they are differant Genra of films. Pirates Of The Caribbean was one of my favorite films that year. Master and Commander was avery good epic movie. I liked both myself but i am going with P.O.T.C. Simply because Johnny Depp played his best role ever by far. Not saying Crowe or Bettany did not have great performances for they did.

Exactly. I don't know how they did that, but frankly I didnt care. POTC is a modern blockbuster masterpiece.

Master and commander is one of my favourite films..brilliantly made.. and it never bores me..i like pirates too fantasticly entertaining..

but the Crowe just pips it for me.

Take depps interpritation of sparrow out of Pirates,its not as good.Sparrow isn't written how depps plays it.

well, depending on who took his place, it might still have been pretty damn cool. if he managed to overshadow Bloom like Depp did, even better.

just watched black pearl, and I must say the battle scene in master and commander was way better than pearl. had a more convincing feel
