Enjoyed the first movie, didn't laugh but once or twice at the second one.

The sequel was a letdown, it tried way too hard and fell flat most of the time.

The sequel was a letdown and not nearly as fresh and creative as the original. The conflict was weak.

It was reminiscent of Hangover 2.

Plus, how could you not laugh at that scene when rebel Wilson serenades her boyfriend?

Except they aren't different. They function almost exactly the same, except the first film is pretty great imo, and the second is a mediocre sequel I only enjoyed because I already love these characters.
