Pixar Marvel Movies

Dude you liked Terminator Salvation (the first one is one of my favorites of all time), Push, and Watchmen. That pretty much says it all.

Thor and/or Black Panther would do good under Pixar, even an Avengers film... it'd be funny if they did the Fantastic Four... with all that controversy they had when "The Incredibles" came out

Hey hey hey! You dont have to drag Watchmen into this! :cmad:

I think that a Power Pack film by disney/Pixar would be great... it should be a non-issue that they've already done superhero fantasy with the Incredibles (how many princess films or talking animal films have been done by Disney?).. make it an origin story, with the Kymellians and the Snarks, etc., hopefully have a cameo from an 'adult' Marvel hero.. The film could have some of the Disney youth TV/film stars do voices..

the Power Pack movie could then be spun off into a regular series and/or more films..

Power Pack is a 'real' 616 Marvel property, compared to, say, the Star Comics line of characters, or the now-forgotten Timely/Atlas line of 'funny animal' titles of the 40's & 50's (and for what its worth, I think those characters need to be looked into as well).. There may be a Gen X nostalgia factor that could bring in adult fans & their kids.. lots of licensing/merchandising opportunities with kids-books, comics, toys, puzzles, games & video games, bedsheets, towels, etc.

They could get away with producing a PG movie that fits with Disney standards without ditching any dramatic integrity..

In a way, this could be Marvel/Disney's equivalent to the harry potter franchise, if handled with some vision..

You my kind friend are a genious!!!!!

I'm just going to be straight up; I think Pixar's the best film company in the world today. Sure they're "children's movies" but the film craft is on a level all of it's own.

If you combine Pixar's Godliness and absolute mastery of film, with marvel's properties, the results could be phenomenal.

Exactly!

What's wrong with Watchmen?? Besides the ending(which I think was appropriate to change) it was relaly faithful to the graphic novel.

Really excellent, except for the dull and vacant human faces. The last shot with Stark's face plate sliding up to reveal his face is the most glaring example.
Everything else is amazing.
Pixar created very believable human faces and expressions in "Up." Just bring in their point man for that aspect and this kinda thing would be unbeatable.

The source material was garbage to begin with.

It was slavishly in debt to the source material; it didn't allow the director or actors to put their own stamp on anything which made it feel really hollow.

I'm afraid this is where I stop taking your opinion seriously...

Well it sounds like you're playing catch-up then. I stopped taking yours seriously once you defended Don'tWatchmen.

it would be interesting to know how much this short piece cost to produce

imagine something like this done by Pixar with a budget over 100 million...wow

I'd LOVE to see some CGI movies if they look like the Iron-Man Adventures.

Be good if they could do it for some tv shows.
