square-cut pizza has been goin' on here in Chi for at least the last 40 years or so, so it ain't no big thing here... it's the ***tty franchises like Domino's and Little Caesar's and all the rest that slice 'em like pie, but all the neighborhood pizzerias have done it like squares for years...

Fortunately I have a frozen California Pizza Kitchen pepperoni pizza in the freezer. I normally don't go frozen, but CPK seems to be the only ones who have mastered it. **** DiGiorno.

Down here they have both, but then again Florida is a melting pot of migrants from pretty much all the Northern states. I've known square cut pizza slices all my life, but they are less popular than New York-style.
