This can be used to discuss PLASTIC MAN aka PLAS!

Now, I'll start off with a couple questions...

First, what is the KYLE BAKER stuff like? I know it's reprinted in 2 volumes, but any good or to over the top?

Secondly, where is this panel/image from? What book?

Personally, one of my favorite books of all time but well it's not the usual superhero thing. It is kind of out there.

Plastic Man is one of the coolest characters in the DCU I wish they would use him more.

Plastic Man is great. I still think he works better as the only sane man in an insane world though.

It's from JLA. I want to say #33, but don't quote me on that.

I loved what Joe Kelly did with Plasticman on his JLA run. Before that I found him just plain annoying.

I love Plastic Man! Now if only they'd do a Marve/DC crossover with Plastic Man,Mr Myxlplyx,Impossible Man,and Slapstick..that would be a hilarious crossover

Don't forget the techno-organic Warlock.

And yes Plastic Man is one of my favorite DC characters. That panel at the top is absolutely hilarious!

That is one of my favorite Plastic Man scenes. Yeah it was issue 33.

what is the best PLASTIC MAN book(s) to get?

I'm going to say Joe Kelly's JLA run, just cause Plasticman is used pretty effectively and is used more than just as a comedic sidekick who turns into a trampoline to catch people.

GREAT thread!

Best Plas books are Joe Kelly's JLA run (specifically trial by fire) and Kyle Bakers Plastic Man book is well worth it. I've always said its like holding a sat morning cartoon in your hands.

Here's the really funny part about that dress scene: Even if she succedes in knocking him out, she'll be standing there in her lacy stuff.

I remember when I saw him in the Dark Knight Strikes Back and his sanity had become unhinged. Bruce called him the most dangerous human alive, I believe. I think the DC universe is lucky he has a sense of humor, because some of the things I saw him doing with his powers in that story were truly disturbing.

"Lacy stuff"? Big Barda seems like a commando kind of woman to me. ;)

so i just read on the lam, and am currently reading rubber bandits, both by kyle baker, and am loving it. did kyle baker do anymore of these? i gotta say, but based on this interpretation of the character, i think a plastic man movie would be awesome.

Unfortunately, I don't think his entire run has been collected.

one of the best plastic man story is the kingdom: offspring.

I have been reading Jack Cole's Plastic Man run in chronological order and am really enjoying it. As of now I've gotten as far as Police Comics #46.

What Plastic Man run is that from?
