I think it looks awesome already, but the dude who was playing it was really bad. He kept repeating moves. And it looks like they're bringing the shoulder ram back, yeah!!! That boss fight looked sweet.
The Shoulder Ram in GoW2 was pretty useless, the whole run mechanics weren't worth getting rid of the awesome 'Hold down square to do a large area attack that pushes enemies away'. The New version of it that was tied to a shoulder button didn't actually knock the enemies back and made 'Protect the translator' impossibly stupid hard of Titan mode. Not sure why they nerfed the hold square attacks from GoW1 they were really fun, and practical to use in certain situations.
If the R button is shoulder ram, the L button is block, and the face buttons stay the same, how are they going to do magic and extra weapons? The d-pad can only do so much.
I also hope that one of the battles in teh game is against Atlas. GOW2 had them saying they had met before and that Kratos actually put him down there so that could be a cool boss battle.
Indeed. I wonder if they'll have Kratos use any other weapons? I would be perfectly happy with only the blades of chaos, so they could focus and not half-ass any other melee weapons.
Yeah the new weapons didn't really add anything in GoW2. I'd prefer it if they focus on maybe only ONE other weapon (The sword and Hammer. were good in GoW2 mind you).
FYI, GoW PSP was never planned to run in the 333mhz mode so all the stuff we've seen was them working at the reduced clockrate. They WILL use the higher mode now that Sony has unlocked it, but the assets/graphics were never built thinking oh we'd have the higher clockspeed open to us. REALLY impressive.
Hot. I don't even have a PSP. Once I do get one I plan on spending like four hundred bucks getting Daxter, Syphon Filter, GTA: VCS, GTA2, MPO, Untold Legends 2, Lumines 2, and GOW. I probably forgot some.
