Please Help! My friend is missing!

My dear friend Marques Allen Rushing is missing. Here is the current information as we know it.

Marques Rushing works at the Apple store in Los Gatos California. He went missing late Monday night.

He was last seen on the corner of Snell and Blossom Hill in San Jose California at the Walgreens at that location.

Description: Marques is roughly 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, African American, he has dark brown hair with a blonde strip of hair on the back of his head the goes from ear to ear.
He was last wearing jeans, black jacket (possibly), a green lantern shirt, black converse, and a white belt bracelet.
He has a tattoo of an octopus on his forearm and coral around his wrist.

We have contacted the authorities and checked all local jails and hospitals.

This is 100% real. Please help if you can, if you're in the area Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Bay Area.

UPDATE:
Marques Allen Rushing has two tattoos. One on his left, top wrist of some coral, it is not very big. The other is on his left, under forearm of a squid which almost covers his entire forearm.

Thank you all for the comments and taking the time to look at this. Still as of this morning he is missing. This makes 3 1/2 days he has not been seen by anyone that he knows.

Unfortunately there's probably not much that I can do, as I don't live in that area anymore and am clear across the country. But I hope that your friend is found. Someone I knew recently disappeared like that too, and thankfully, he turned up, so I'll be hoping the same for your friend.

Even though I don't know you or your friend personally, and I have no idea what the circumstances of this situation are, it might be refreshing (at least) to know that a lot of these cases end positively. In adult cases, a lot of them are not "forced" to leave, but rather do so by choice. Although it's not certain, it might be relieving to consider that your friend is safe.

Again, I'd hate to offer false hope, but it's just something to consider.

I am leaning towards he just took off, or needed a break or something mentally broke down. I hope, but the more time passes the more worried I get.

If your friend has never done anything like this before then time is crucial. It's very possible that your friend is in trouble.

However, if your friend has done this before then there's a pretty good chance that he is fine. I use to bolt/disappear without telling anyone (not that I live with anyone or have many friends or family members) for months at a time.

A friend of mine disappeared five years ago. He had a steady job, wife and two kids, and wasn't the type to just disappear. Due to my background in Law Enforcement and Psychology, I knew six hours in that he was in trouble...

I don't know him extremely well. But from what I know, he's never done anything like this. He has disappeared, more taken off, but from what I know, things like being at a party, getting upset, taking off, then showing up at work the next morning.

Never for a full day or anything.

For what its worth, my friend just up and disappeared for about a week or so, and apparently was just for the hell of it. As far as I know there was no trouble involved. But he was apparently found in another state, so I dont know what's up.

I will certainly pass on the word to the people I know in that area. Im very familiar with the Blossom Hill / Snell area of San Jose, since I lived in San Jose for 24 years. I'll let my fam and friends out that way know.
