Iron Man 2 Plot Outline.

People have babies at different ages. Simple as that. He's a billionaire, can reproduce at any age he wants. Though it would stop the pictures in the first film with the slideshow. He looks like he's in his 40's or 50's there.

The invention that Hammer is attempting to steal either has something to do with Captain America of course or Thor. Most likely CA that way his movie can be completely set within WWII and him getting placed into the tank he'll be at the end of Iron Man 2 and everyone will wonder who the heck is that.

Tank?

Well, Howard Stark was part of the Supersoldier program. That's a given. I'd say Hammer might want to steal the Supersoldier Serum, or the Vibranium (Black Panther? :wow:), or...

I'd go with the Serum it would make more sense

I think he meant the vita-ray chamber, rather than a tank like in XO:W.

Vanko creates the Whiplash suit by himself (Mickey Rourke confirmed it). The Crimson Dynamo suit (If there) would probably have Hammer's finger in it.

Vanko is defeated by Stark, Hammer confronts him and suggests a better suit.

Yea that's how I see it going down.

Vanko probably get's the mini arc reactor from Hammer some how. Makes his own "whiplash" suit. Get's defeated by Stark. Hammer sees something in Vanko and makes him a offer to get even with Stark and also do his dirty work for him (industrial sabotage) or something.

I wouldn't mind seeing the reason WHY Vanko wants to go after Stark in the first place.

Maybe Stark helps put him away or destroys his organization or something?

Or maybe Vanko doesn't have a beef with Stark to begin with, but it grows after Stark defeats him?

Brings the question: if he doesn't have a beef with him, then why does he go after him.

Idea: He got the idea in prison from Hammer and Hammer helped him build the suit to get him out of prison, Stark got wind that his Arc reactor tech was used in a jail break and goes after Vanko, Stark planned to get him at the race tracks but, after studying his suit, realized he was a small fight and only took his gloves, Vanko runs away and yells and Hammer demanding a bigger and better suit.

Vanko was an arms dealer and inventor. Iron Man, helping out SHIELD, uncovered his operation and he was send to prison. In there, he managed to create the Whips and use them to escape. Free, he developed the armor, and bough one of Stark's reactors, sold in Black Market by Hammer, secretly. He uses it to energize the whips he created. He swore revenge against Tony and it's going to have it. He seems on TV that Stark is attending the Monaco Grand Pix and goes after him. There, he attacks one of the guards and uses his uniform to get close enough to attack Stark. Whiplash tries to kill Stark, but Tony brought his power gloves and fights Whiplash off, forcing him to retreat as SHIELD comes up. Besides, he damages the suit. Vanko hides. Hammer watches everything on TV. He tracks Vanko down and offers him an better suit in exchange for keeping Stark busy and away from his industrial espionage and theft. Vanko accepts. With Hammer's money and technology, he creates the Crimson Dynamo suit and attacks Stark Industries. Stark fights him as Iron Man, but looses, and it's only not killed because of Vanko's deal with Hammer. Stark builds the Mark V and goes for a rematch with Whiplash/Crimson Dynamo, defeating him and leaving him for SHIELD, who puts him in the supervillain prison called "The Vault". Vanko is put next to some Emil Blonsky guy. Word is he's an Abomination...

Speaking of "The Vault" remember the rumors of Edward Norton in Iron Man 2?

Vanko w/o armor wouldn't need to be kept in the Vault. Blonsky, sure. In fact he'd almost need his own private prison.

I'd still keep him in the same prison.

Maybe we'll get a movie where it's basically a Marvel Villain Shawshank Redemption.

"Vanko crawled through a mile of **** to come out smelling like a free villian.".

From the Comic-Con Teaser-Trailer:

. The USA government wants to aprehend Tony Stark's technology because it is a "privatized weapon". Stark doesn't plan to give up on his technology knowing they'll use it as a weapon, and becomes an public enemy.

. The government, aided by weapons manufacturer Justin Hammer, develop the War Machine armor to fight Stark/aprehend his armor. Col. James Rhodes, struggling between his friendship with Tony and his loyalty to America, is designated to use it.

. Whiplash has a personal rivalry with Stark's family, calling them "Butchers and murderers" who inadvertly destroyed millions of life. And, when Stark's blood fall on the water, the sharks will come.

. Black Widow is infiltrated in Stark Industries.

. Stark doesn't want to participate Nick Fury's "super-secret boy-band".

. Stark likes Donuts.

The government going after Tony sounds like it would be a very interesting element in the plot, it almost sounds like a thriller. I hope its very well executed. I had no idea Favreau & company would be going that route.

P.S.
I would've thought Tony would've created the War Machine armor. The government, along with Hammer, creating it makes it even more interesting.
