Police express concern over rapid superhero registry

I think it would be great to have a "superhero" organization that really just worked for charities, like the shriners. Those little guys get to wear cool hats and drive fun little cars without getting shot at.

Seriously, though, just stick to working at soup kitchens and maybe organizing fundraising events while wearing capes. If you want to be a hero who gets shot at, BE A COP!

I think that'd actually be pretty cool. We'd have real life superheroes, but they'd all just be colorful charity workers.

Oddly enough, it'd be the exact opposite of what the average superhero does in comic books. All most comic book heroes do is fight crime, while never reaching out to their community to help individual people.

I dunno... doesnt the Justice Society tend to do alot of that crap?

Well, I said "the average superhero." That's something you rarely see a superhero do.

It made the video when they said that the superheroes were being tormented by local villians! CLASSIC!!!

Great Googly Moogly....where do I sign up.:hehe:

BWWAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
Man oh Man! some people need to find a woman badly!!
Damn!!! that is so &%$#@** Funny!
No wonder that senate commission long time ago said comic books were rotting young people's minds.
HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

those anchors were so horrible. and C-Mon to these "superheroes".

P.S. Sweet god that anchor could get that guy killed!

According to RazorHawk (my god I can't believe I just typed that) he just seems to want inspire good in people. Like he said, handing out food and toys for Christmas while dressed as a "superhero" is not only memorable but might make people realize to do the right thing. It's alright, I guess, as long as they don't start taking the law into their own hands.

You could tell the Anchorman thought it was nerdy as all hell and was asking everything mockingly. He was probably one of those *****ebag jocks back in high school who picked on those guys. He looks like he has a glass jaw. Hopefully someone will break it for him one day.

Anyway, as long as this thing doesn't turn into a true life Watchmen event I could care less.

BTW did anybody notice when they were showing the pictures of the real "superheroes" in their costumes Bale's Batman from TDK suddenly showed up in there? LOL>

These ****ers need to go get suits of armor and prototype military vehicles :o

Do you REALLY want these people to have access to real weapons, though?

And I think this is really hilarious, but kinda sad too. Like everyone's been saying, they'll probably end up getting laughed at and then gunned down by some "villians" they were trying to stop.

You know, I've seen a lot of people in this thread talk smack about the anchorman for making fun of these people, but that's exactly what the rest of us in this thread have been doing.

Couldn't care less. The phrase is "couldn't care less."

Exactly, and can you honestly blame the dude for thinking this whole "superhero" thing is, at the very least, kind've ******ed?

My problem isn't with his charitable streak, it's with his attention ****ing and the fact that, by his own admission, he carries around mace, a taser and goes on "patrol" for crime. It won't be long until he finds out what real criminals are like.

I have the sudden urge to run around in a black v-neck body suit and sheer yellow dress.

Razorhawk's Journal. December 31st, 2008. Another night goes by and I have yet to encounter a criminal. They call me ridiculous. Hopeless. Why then, should I go on? Why should I continue to patrol these streets, night after night? Because there is good and there is evil and evil must be punished. Not even in the face of my own morbid obesity and uttler lack of competence will I compromise in this.

HAHAHA my boy said he "trains and workout to be prepared" haha. what he got like a makeshift "Danger Room" in his backyard or something?!? i workout and i know damn well that dude aint working out. This is killing me."Razorhawk" and how come these dudes dont go to South Central LA. there's plently of crime there for them to fight!I dont think so they only probably stop some 12 year olds from littering.oh man this is tooo funny.
