New police sirens will vibrate your car as they approach

    Actually, it's brilliant. Some people simply can't hear the sirens while they're driving, whether it be to better sound-proofed cabins or to booming radios. During the day, you might be less inclined to notice the flashing lights than at night.

    This is a pretty innovative solution, as opposed to making sirens LOUDER, which could potentially damage the hearing of pedestrians and the like.

    Yeah, except it projects the vibrations a bit better; it's more focused.

    I'm too lazy to watch the video, but I wonder if the vibrations would be distinctive to someone bumping a really loud, bass-heavy system.

    What about the people with King Kong in the trunk?
