Police Officer Violently Attacks 15 Yr Old Girl

Thankfully the OP didn't put a :whatever: emoticon in his post because that would mean he hated police in general.

Hey man, there's the cops. Ask them if they'll give us a push.

Alright. Hey! Hey! Can you pigs give us a push?

*Tires squeal*

Oh, far out, man. They're turning around.

See, I've explained previously how the use of a taser can hypothetically be a more acceptable method than other possibilities in an incident involving an unruly kid...

But THAT was excessive. Dude blind-sided her and laid her the f*** out.

That's some 15 year old girl. She's not even wearing heels and she's about as tall as the cop and not particularly skinny either. The mother has got to learn to apply a simple choke hold. She's doing it all wrong.

Cop was a complete coward. Needs to get his ass fired.

Good god, the overly sympathetic posts here make me want to puke. This little ***** assaulted two people and wasn't f**king hurt. She deserved every bit of this.

Her age and genitals have nothing to do with it, and if anything, the police are way too soft on criminals overall.

You're such a bleeding heart.

Are you serious though? How are cops too soft, should they just go around beating everyone like Rodney King?
There's a penal system for a reason, police are there to enforce the law and bring people to justice, not brutalize them.
I'm sure she made it out with nothing more than lacerations and bruises, but with the way he hit her a bad landing might of made things quite a bit more serious.

I agree when it comes to hard criminals. She's not a hard criminal. If it were a female cop I wouldn't have a problem though. The playing field would be even.

It wouldn't of been as bad, but still excessive force for someone not really resisting arrest.

No, it's just that people catch cops doing with camera phones. People see just the cop getting the person and not the person committing the crime.

I'm with SuperFerret. Nothing about this was excessive and she deserved it. When you're a cop, you're always wary that the person might have a weapon. Even pulling someone over for speeding.

I remember a few months ago a guy was walking at some late hour, a cop pulled over to talk to him and the guy shot the cop.

How isn't this excessive? Considering he could of easily ran up to her, grabbed her by the wrist jijitsu style, controlled and cuffed her and that would of been it, he's a big man, it would of been a cinch. So this is the very definition of excessive which is exceeding that which is usual, proper and necessary.

Bleeding from the heart kills.

Would you of not felt a bit different had she fractured her skull and fallen into a life-threatening coma, or would it just be good riddance in your eyes?

The Cop apolologists in this thread is why we are heading head first into a police state.

If a grown man has to use this much force on a 15 year old girl. Well I don't think he should be a cop. He should be doing desk work, or some non-physical activity. Cause he sure as hell isn't fit to be a cop.

Because a grown up crack head will just completely wreck his pu**y a**.

Just think about it this way, if that becomes standard operating procedure when dealing with 90lbs 15 year old girls, just think of how they'll handle grown men.

No, it's not excessive. He just saw her get in a physical brawl with an older woman moments earlier. It's not like she was just caught shoplifting.

No, we're heading into a police state by giving the government more power.

Since I don't know her, I don't care. She attacked people and would've deserved it, and I'm not budging on that point. It would be unfortunate for her had that happened, but she would have reaped what she'd sown.

Just because I don't side with a criminal who broke the law doesn't mean I'm any kind of "apologist".

Hopefully they'll treat any violent criminal the same regardless of their size or genitalia.

So are you arguing that she couldn't of been restrained in a less brutal way? Perhaps catching up to her, controlling her wrist and pining her to the wall?

Let's not act like she'd just beaten on a grown man with some Jackie Chan type fighting skills and had made the crowd aware she was packing heat. She might be a violent little ***** with a serious attitude problem, but not on her meanness day could she pose much of a hassle for a trained law enforcement officer.

He had an option, he could of went about it in the standard way, yet he made the choice to exceed those limits, therefore making it an excessive use of force.

She deserves to be punish, she needs to be rehabilitated less she become a burden to society for the rest of her life. I agree that the book needs to be throw at her to the furthest extent of the law because otherwise she wont learn. But what is this, Babylonian times?
If anything this will probably result in her having less of a sentence than she deserves because what the cop did is so shocking and that is what pisses me off the most.

It'll be like when OJ got off because some idiot cop/prosecutor, wtv decided to drop an N bomb.

Hopefully they'll treat any violent criminal the same regardless of their size or genitalia.

The way an offender is treated should be relative to the danger the pose to the officer and the resistance they put up or else we might as well skip trial for murderers and just shot them in the streets.

Violent criminal my ass. She probably gave her mom a mouthful of abuse and maybe slapped her. Yea, she's a *****. She deserves to get sorted out.

But not be face planted from behind.

So they should treat a 15 year old drunk girl who probably did no more than slap someone the same way as a 250lb guy who beat the crap out of someone?

Yea, that's stupid.

In my experience there are a lot of cops out there who are *****es who value the authority their badge affords them because they didn't have one to hide behind in high school or wherever they spent the really miserable years of their lives.

In my experience there are a lot of cops out there who are good natured and who help civilians they see who are in need of assistance despite appearances (I'm hispanic). So apparently what you see and what I see are vastly different and yet we both hold on to them as generalized truths.

Well blanket statements are never good.
Generally I'd say most people who are going to dedicate their lives, and risk their lives to become police officers aren't doing it because they are looking to get some payback. Well, not most Canadian cops I've encountered.
That said I've watched a lot of Cops on t.v. and there are an awful lot of obtuse power trippers and I'd hate to think how they act when they aren't followed by a camera crew.

Both of these are true. I've met plenty of good cops before. I've also met a fair few that were obviously bullied at school or something and are now going over the top with their power.

I think it's partially the world we live in, we tend to think that there are a great deal of "bad' cops because that's what gets promoted and what we want to see. No one wants to watch a cop help a guy push his broken down truck to a gas station (as one cop did for me). Instead they'd rather see a cop beat the **** out of someone unjustly because as a society we love that kind of drama. There are obviously bad cops because they're human, just as there are bad garbage men and bad fast food workers. With any job there are going to be bad people, unfortunately with the police we are quicker to generalize the whole force rather than just blame the individuals.

You're right about that. Sometimes I see repeats of this show called To Serve and Protect, which is some early 90's Canadian show like Cops... And it's so ridiculously bad and boring.

But yah, the bad catches our eye more, especially when it concerns cops, and I think it's fair to some extent. The police need to be policed because they have an incredible amount of power for people who really aren't far separated from the average person.

If it was me making a citizens arrest on a 15 year old girl and I gave the harlot a tackle like that my ass would end up in jail just as quick as hers.
