We havent actually got the percents to look at yet so lets see how many of us think it had too many plot holes.

I for one think it had alot of plotholes, more then it probably should have.

Didn't have that many at all...

Only one I can think of is how does Eddie know about Sandman's daughter. The Symbiote was attached to Peter and gave Eddie all of Peter's info when it got to him but Peter never knew anything about Sandman's daughter.

Yea, I wondered that myself.

Another smaller one would be the scientests at the nuclear test site only swirled sand around. Their experiment was never really explained.

Also some of the major coincidences could be viewed as plot holes, like Peter just happening to bump into a bell which happened to tear off his suit in the church where Eddie happened to be praying.

I love how careless those scientists were when they started up their experiment, "it's probably just a bird". LOL, so lame.

What about Eddie being the one that was able pick up MJ after she left her apartment. That seemed a little too convenient.

There were a few in the theatrical, but most of these would be cleared up in the director's cut- wait and see. Venom knowing about Sandman's child- a cut/alternate scene. The experiment was explained in more detail, etc. That's another plus side in reading the book- you really don't pick up on that many plot holes, since you know what happened while another scene is taking place, etc.

I can't help but overlook them, because it's such a beautiful movie. I think a lot of it would be cleared up in the director's cut. The only bad plot DEVICE was Harry's butler. Besides that, the coincidences and stuff were fine with me.

I thought there wasn't going to be a director's cut.
