POLL: Most Disappointing Movie Sequel Ever? (Final Round!)

I think Batman and Robin and Blade:Trinity are some of the most disappointing sequels.

I think we'll be listing Die Hard 4 and Indiana Jones 4 in here soon - assuming that they really are crazy enough to make them.

Blade Trinity was horrible
I didn't like or hate Matrix Reloaded but hated Revolutions
Jurassic Park 3 was bad
I never saw Batman and Robin but if I did it would probably be on this list

There was a previous discussion on this thread about the definition of "disappointing".

whoa whoa whoa, spidey 2 is in no where the same league at terminator 3

Because Speed 1 sucked too. So no one was expecting the second one to be good.

 it was a great cheesy movie

Considering how much I love Batman and Batman Reurns, I'll have to say Batman & Robin, which s utterly awful and simply has no redeeming qualities IMO.

But it wasn't really that big of a come-down from Batman Forever. :)

batman returns.
honestly i HATED returns when it first came out. i was so pissed when i left the theatre i smashed a toy biz batman '89 figure on the ground and then burned it in effigy. it just was not what i wanted a batman movie to be at age 17 still kneeling before the church of alan moore and frank miller. it has since become one of my favorite movies.

batman forever.
it was much more disappoiting than batman and robin because i knew that b&r was gonna suck. again ive come to appreciate this movie for the good stuff.

robocop 2.

matrix reloaded.

x-men 3

land of the dead

alien resurrection

but the winner is...

the phantom menace.
i felt tramatized and cheated. the end of innocence and the last bit of my idealistic youth crushed in one fell fart joke.

Just wondering, Did Arnold demand the top-billing or did WB just give him top-billing because of his career outshadowing everyone else?

Dunno about that, but i did read they wasted money on fitting him with a bald head cap each day cos he refused to shave his noggin

Nothing comes close to Matrix: Reloaded.

The first was original, epic .... sheer class.

Then we went to Zion and everything went wrong.
