Poll: Who's better Batman Or Wolverine?-

Hey Superherohype gentlemen and gentlewomen! I wanted to know which characters do you prefer Batman or Wolverine? If any of you folks have a account over at Comic Book Resources then you would probably know that I had made a similar thread over there in which Wolvie won the poll(though only by a few votes).

So I wanted to pick your brains a bit and find out if the clawed-filled grumpy, grizzled immortal will beat out the cape crusader yet again or will the Dark Knight leave the beer-lovin', chain-smoking mutant in the dust this time? Who do the fine folks at Superherohype prefer?

Note: This is a thread about the characters in all mediums(i.e, comics, games, films, etc.) Batman and Wolverine aren't just comic book characters(though it is the medium they were born in) they’re also movie characters, as well as videogame and animated characters. And there are many who've been introduced to the aforementioned characters through media outside the comics—be it the television shows, videogames, and of course the films.

This thread isn't specifically about the comic characters but encompasses all the media that the two characters have been in. This thread/Poll merely inquires the participants to pick their preference overall.

I'd never seen this before but it makes a pretty solid case for (eventually) bringing Wolverine's costume to the big screen. It's far from perfect, but this shows it can work.

My bias aside, I'd still vote Batman. He has the better stories, better supporting cast, better concept, better media.

Both have become overrated by fans and writers, and are often written in an irritating manner as a result, but its more bearable in Batman's case, IMO.

Also, not surprised he lost on CBR. Even in the Batman section of that forum, he seems to get undermined a bit.

Better stories and supporting cast then the X-Men? Better concept then the X-Men? There are many who would strongly disagree with that assertion. If you are comparing it to Wolvie's solo books then OK, no contest despite some excellent runs by Wolverine.

Tough to compare Batman stories Vs. Wolverine when one characters stories are mainly placed in an ensemble setting.

As a character I always preferred Batman.
